Yester day I was assaulted by a civil enforcment officer.
(traffic warden) for others who don know what a CEO is

I dont believe it but its true the bugger
twisted my wrist and removed the keys from my car ignition.

have you been to the doctor to prove he damaged your wrist (I assume it was a he?)
Tell the police/council you intend to sue for damages and bring a charge of assault.

However, why did he/she twist your wrist and remove your car keys?

How dare anyone lay a hand in you.

Don't be intimidated when the police come will you?

right this how it went

I was moving my son back home from his old flat
was parked out side on double yellow
I assumed you can load /unload on double yellow
went it to flat to get a box came out traffic warden booking car
said come on mate give us a brake just tryed to explain to him about removals he ignor me
tryed to talk to him twice same responce
said to him you got me number post it to me then
got in car he came around to window place his hand on my wrist twisted it from my car keys in ignition and took keys

went to Dr`s now my wrist and hand is swollen and very painfull

I think he has overstepped the mark there Surfmonkey.......and it does sound like common assault.... he could have still issued you with a ticket, even if you had driven away.......no need to physically restrain you....

oh yes thats what happened he also pionted out a sign on a pole over ten meters away

the sign was in size

about 10 inches by 4 inches silver with black writing
I though restiction signs were yellow with black writing may be wrong

just giong down with camera to get pic of it soon

blimmy thats nasty surf, better take pics over the coming days of your wrist, just incase of bruising and deff dr's to report it and get them to do xrays and mri scan, tell your dr you need that so you can sue and get refered to physio asap..... i've a good solictors that take on hand claims if you need their details... :))
