I would like to try a mind reading experiment.

I need two volunteers - I cant do it with any more than that at the moment, but if anyone wants to try it, let me know straight away.

What I need to say from the start is for no one else to post until I've finished.

In the meantime, Pauline, think of a number from one to ten and then tell me what it is. This isnt the test, its necessary to know an arbitary number before we start.

I am now going to post a list of 'things - 10 in total. They are numbered one to ten.

Pauline - I want you to choose one of the ODD numbered things.

GG - I want you to choose one of the EVEN numbered things

Once you have posted a reply to say you understand, I will post the list.

Right - keep thinking of it.

I am now going to try some association - I will post another list - i want you, in your mind - to associate one of the itmes on the list with the item you first chose. This will make the link stronger for me to detect.

So - look at the list, try to make an association and I will then try to read your minds to see what you were thinking of in the first place. OK? ANy questions?
