End of April I had a bad fall and in the words of the medical professsion did not break both my wrists but smashed them! Have plates, screws and wires. The swelling has been there since op 11 weeks ago and is impeding doing exercises with my RH. |

Kitty, I spend a lot of the time when I am sitting with elbow propped up and arm stuck up like a periscope - first 9 days in hosp. I lay on my back with arms in foam cradles suspended from hoists - quite a performance when I needed loo! Gloves are not tight as that would increase swelling so I am told - so I am perplexed but doing as I am told! As long as I can get my independence back - I shall try and be patient and work hard at my bathing and exercises!!! |
