Rightho. Got the wrong end of the stick there. It is cheeky, in fact rude, of him. And I'd guess that the Mum may normally deal with this? I do all the inviting to stay and arranging return sleepovers, hubby doens't have a clue what goes on! lol
Maybe the two lads had just got too much and when it was suggested they have another night there he just thought 'OH NO!'. You know what kids can be like. And if you've had a bad night's sleep cos they're giggling and being noisy you probably can't take the thought of another night of it.

i didnt say he demanded sally, i just think the way he said to kids they could sleep over laddos house tonite was a bit cheeky, a lot cheeky in fact

you dont usually get dads saying that,
when our kids used to have sleep overs it was for them to have laugh with they friends, i never thought right tomorrow nite its your turn

Sally the dad said whe his lad said he wanted it to be another night at theirs (which I wouldnt of let laddo do anyway) that they could come to ours to stay.

It just annoys me that laddo doesnt think and I know its part of the way he is and until we are told what he has cant start to understand how his little mind works is just frustrating that he doesnt realise we cant do everything as easily as other families, doesnt matter how many times we tell him I cant do all I used to it just doesnt sink in, or it sinks in just doesnt resurface again lol

I didn't get the inpression Julie Ann that the stepdad was demanding anything. Just that he said he could sleep round which could mean after the lads asked him if it was OK.

Well he hasnt had him round and is stomping around upstairs.

big bad mum again but have to think about me once in a while. My home is where I can feel quite safe and dont have to put on the front that I usually do when i am out and about.

Laddo will of forgotten tomorrow

Agree the lads probably went to friends stepdad and said 'Can your laddo sleep at mine tonight?' and his laddo said 'PLEEEAAASSSSEEEE!'. So as parents do sometimes, especially Dads and Stepdads, he probably assumed that you'd said it was OK.
Mine used to do this all the time, come out of school with friend in tow saying 'Cna he come for tea?' and me trying quickly to come up with a plausible excuse as to why he couldn't.

Deanna's right, they probably arranged it between them then told the stepdad.

You aren't well enough and your son will have to think of something else he and his friend can do as a treat.

I really feel for you here Dawn,

I have been on my own a lot at various times with 5 or 6 kids when OHs eldest lived here. Sometimes I had to say no for my own sanity. it did get easier but is so hard,

Good luck,

Caz xx

Phone the boys family up Dawn and explain the difficulties.
then you can promise the two boys a different type of treat when your husband can be there to help.
It was most probably the boys who asked if he could sleep over at yours anyway... you know what kids are.

against my better judgement we let laddo sleep over at a friends house up the road. Dont like doing it as I cant have anyone staying here in return as I cant cope with it especially the way laddo is he gets so loud and stupid but thats just the way he is.

Hes come home this evening for tea saying this lads step dad has said he can stay over here tonight as laddo stayed there. No checking with me so I now have an upset laddo. Hubby is away for a few days and am trying to cope on my own should be easy but Im getting tireder and tireder and temper is getting shorter and shorter.
God I feel so mean at times
