living relation

hi can any 1 help me i have found some 1 with loads of matches and has sent me his tree to look at but he has put living relations through most of the tree how can i see who these people are as most of them are my immediate family ,is there a way to unlock?????

I don't think so....................you might have to ask him for written details.

I would be pleased he had done this though.

He will actually have written them, down as first name Living second name Relative like I have on my tree. You're not allowed to put living people's details on your tree without their permission. Plus it could lead to fraudsters getting too much useful information.

no theres no names what so ever that is why i don,t understand he,s a match with me my mum and dad and my brother on how can it be with all that is on is living relation and nothing else???/?

Because he has put living relation, or ticked that he doesn't want living people shown. If the latter then people born within the last 100 odd years are not shown.
When I put mine on where it says first name I typed in 'Living' and where it says surname I typed in 'Relative'.
The only way of seeing is to PM him and ask for details. He has the right to say no though.
