Son had one when he was 3 yrs- he was a clown and lived with us for about a year. I had to flatten myself against staircase wall when son came up as once - never to be forgotten the trauma of it - I passed son on stairs = knocked clown down and walked over him! He had his own chair, plate, knife and fork and a tiny bit of food on plate etc but one had to be careful when sitting down in lounge as one could easily sit on him - got I used to ask son - is this seat empty??????? Things we do for children - we must all be mental! |

Me and my sister had two imaginary friends that used to play with each other, they were called "girls-dad-the-boy and Theresa",!! Blimey, I'd forgotten all about them, they were our alter-go's I think!! I was the first ne and goodness knows where that name came from--we were only 5 and 7!!or perhaps yonger!!! |

Evening - I had an imaginary friend called Rachel and when I was small and did something wrong i.e. broke a plate, I'd go to my mam and tell her what Rachel had done - made my mam's life a bit easier I suppose |

Our youngest had an imaginary friend. I often wondered if this was brought on by the fact that she was the youngest by 6 years and so home-alone with me while her brother and sister were at school all day. |
