As a matter of fact I look and dress very similar to Croc - at least in the summer time.

Kathryn, think you could be right lol Looks very similar. I can't remember where the idea was from. if mentioned.
Would you believe two have been damaged by vandals already? Mindless idiots, why must they spoil things for others.

Hope you get your ferris wheel ride with No 2 and it helps you make your decisions. Life's too short to be stuck in a place you don't want to be, or with someone you don't want to be with, heaven knows I can empathise.
I think you should Cast your fate to the wind.... just go for it, lady.

Susan, I know, and elephants are more lucky if they are holding their trunks up in the air, should always be pointing towards a door or exit.

Got the UB40 one from the charity bookshelf in our local supermarket the other day and a Barry Manilow one lol 25p each.
Must be recent as there is a list of their tour dates for 2008 but from May.
They are on at the Motorshow in London, today 23rd and on Saturday in Kent then 13th Sept in Wiltshire.
You mean liking UB40 are another thing we have in common?
Maybe I could get K to copy it for you?
I don't recognise any of the songs but I am not very up to date with their stuff, love the old ones - my fave is Red red wine...

What about.......bridges being burned and not to ....I wonder if I can think up some more proverbs.....but having said this I expect you will throw a few more into the pot to counteract any I could suggest lol

Happy Unbirthday :-)))))

Not my birthday yet. Later on. Long time to wait, nonetheless, but if we waited for me to get a new passport and try to get time off and actually organize myself to go somewhere ... well, there'd be a lot of unrequited lust floating around the universe. ;)

No, I'm pretty sure the bird in the hand isn't worth much anymore, I'm afraid. Might have to do for eternity for want of anything else, but I'm pretty sure I don't want to go into eternity without having investigated the other side of the fence.

There's no grass at all in Arizona. ;) It would be a matter of the desert being drier, and given the humidity here ...

Susan719813

Susan719813 Report 23 Jul 2008 02:19

Is it your birthday too Kathryn?.

A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush......or something like that......or maybe....grass being greener comes to mind :-))))))

I think Norwich has been cribbing. ;)

The rain it raineth every bleeding day, here in, yes, Ontario. It's a very good thing it does, actually, because otherwise the humidity would be beyond unbearable. There seems to be some sort of cool breeze outside my window, but not coming in much.

Yes, still the complicated life here. No. 2, who is of course two time zones away in the US southwest, may come to visit me instead of vice versa ... and take me to the fair for my birthday, and we will go on ferris wheels and roller coasters, and be merry.
