AL........so pleased to hear your Aunt is feeling a bit brighter......hopefully the bone will mend with bedrest and at least they arn't trying to keep getting her up and moveing.
I broke my pelvis years ago ( in lots of places ) and my pubic bone never healed ( it is free floating ) but I can walk reasonably ok............I hope that your Aunt makes a good recovery............bless her xx

Just got back from visiting her - the journey's about an hour each way. She seems a bit brighter in herself and ate a little of the food I took her in - she couldn't touch the hospital stuff and it looked disgusting. At least they've stopped trying to get her up walking around - which hurt her a lot. I think it's just a question of rest until her bones mend. They've said she could be in there another eight weeks. AL

AL, how disgraceful they didn't find out before, I hope now they will help her more with pain relief and do whatever is necessary to help this bone mend.
Poor woman, what she has been through, hope she feels better soon.

Well, she's been in hospital almost two weeks now and the doctors have just announced that she has also broken her pubic bone. No wonder she's in so much pain! AL
