I was very carefully making my way into Coniston Lake this afternoon, only for kids to push me over, boy was it cold but I swam , reminded me of being a teen and swimming back and forth across the lake.

We climbed the 'Old Man of Coniston' a few years ago. Unfortunately it was very misty when we got to the top!

Hiya Angela, Ive been up the Old Man 4 times and every blommin time it was misty! It was glorious today, but yes fun lol!!

Lake District - beautiful maybe our UK hol destination next year....havent been for a good 35 years

Ellen must have been thinking about you.

We had a quick look at our local reservoir (very pretty and lake-like but not in the same league as Coniston) didn't have time for a long walk but Ellen wanted a swim!
