Oh lucky you, Carole! I wish I was going too! We stayed at The Edison (I think it is called) in Manhattan, a good middle of the road Hotel (art deco), reasonable price and in the middle of everything. A tour bus is the very best way to see New York, visit Chinatown, 5th Avenue, travel by subway, take the Staten Island ferry and visit Ellis Island, see a Broadway show, take a helicopter ride round Manhatten...fabulous but a bit expensive, and of course, go shopping:-)), and so much more! I bought The Lonely Planet Guide and it was great....BC XX |
