Have usually found in 20 years that people who are very against it either have something to hide or know of a family skeleton! It is interesting as I like to put flesh on the bones, fun, fascinating and at times ready to tear hair out! |

The usual things that are thought of to be a terrible disgrace are illegimate children, bigamous marriages - at least that is what I found and OH grandfather was an expert in the latter!!!!!! Always m,arried as a bachelor, never divorced just moved to different part of the country and transposed his two christian names regularly - did this for about 30 years. |

I know my great grandfather married my great grandmother but never lived with her he lived with his brother but came home often enough to father 9 kids with her. maybe he has more somewhere else that i will never know |
