Col, we have had our cooler for three years and are well pleased with it. It is a Convair Mastercool, and I think it originated in Australia. You do have to watch that you dont put too much water in or it will spill when you move it, but so would a bucket! |

Nothing is OTT in this heat if it helps.I am even. putting ice cubes in the dogs water.It's the pillows I find get all sweaty and damp,keep flipping them overand swapping top for bottom one. |

Jean does the cooler work...we had one and it flooded the kitchen within ten minutes and got returned to the shop. If they are reliable and do the trick mght get another one |

Have an air conditioner on in the main passage and fans in two rooms to disperse the cooler air. the cats love the fan and sprawl out in front of it. Cooler is one of those cabinets with fans passing air over cold water, and it works a treat. Dont want to know what the electricity bill will be, I cant stand this heat, 84f indoors. Jean |
