My son Josh saw his real Dad and step Mum the other day, he was ignored and i think its got to him.

Tonight he asked me to help him get in contact with his Grandparents who he hasnt seen for 7 years. I have tried directory enquiries, no sign.

Then I looked at the electoral role and found a death for someone matching the name. But i cant afford to subscribe. Does anyone have it?

I was on ancestry until last month, havent renewed.

Im not certain he is dead, but there was a name that matched his.

Thanks kemp hun, I dont think its on ancestry, Penny has looked.

I think someone has found his death although not sure......


How will i tell the kids that their Dad didnt care enough to say their grandad died?

But you must be sure first ...if its the same gran dad send for the death certificate ............

I wasnt told when either of mine died,
grandad went first, Nan went just over a year later........was told when it was too late.......

Hi Caz.

Has someone already found the record for you? I've got findmypast if you need a lookup.

If he has died, Kemp's right - you have to tell them as honestly, but as gently of course, as you can. You'll find the right words.

My ex lives in the same town, he has changed his phone number but i feel like going round, my kids will be hurt, they were kept out of his whole families life, Im so angry,

My older 3 kids loved their grandparents, then they were cut off by their dad and his nasty wife.Never taken to visit, but tonight Josh said he really wanted contact,
