On the news one of the fuel indust; moguls (GAS i think)
was complaining profit down on last year
Why was that did he think?Asked Katie Siler; on news.
Because he said, we are buying in units at 70 pence and
selling to public for 60 pence, so weve only made one
billion profit this year, well down on last
ive a feeling ive missed soething--how about you?

Its because the large conglomerates are only interested in profits for the shareholders Colin......not in passing any of the great profits back to help alleviate the problem of higher fuel prices.....

The government could step in and ask the Companies to forego some of the profits, but they are hand in glove with the businesses anyway.....so it will not happen.....
