Pick her up very carefully and drape her round your neck. She;ll get used to sleeping there and you can type. Be a bit warm at the moment but just think, come winter and a slightly bigger cat, and you'll save a fortune on the heating bills!

Seriously, we had a cat once that used to travel to the vets loose in the car and draped himself about husband's neck when he drove so I'm sure they're happy there.

Thanks.

The 4 was added by Oscar. He's certainly starting how he means to go on - ie he's in charge, likes to be warm & comfortable.

So when I'm trying to compose some witty or helpful reply to an email, he's pressing enter 50 times or switching the power off.

Whereas at ten to five in the morning his preferred location is wrapped under my chin & round my neck like some mad surgical aid.

But he's so cute and purrrrrry I haven't the heart to be cross ;o)

Jill..........we used to have a black cat that enjoyed being draped round the neck .........you could wander about happily indoors for ages like it.

My Dad got the bright idea to go to the corner shop with Sooty draped one day.........big mistake....lol.....cat freaked out big time and poor Dad came home distressed and scratched to ribbons............lol

Hi Maria,

The answer to your question is quite simple.

Teach the kitten to type, then dictate all your notes.

my cat jessica, is a fat black cat, she still likes to jump up from the ground onto my back and sit across my shoulders, I wouldnt mind, but at 11yrs old surely she shouldnt still be doing this, quite painful at times when her claws dig in. I think it must be dinner time, one of the other cats has just jumped onto keyboard to get me to go and feed them, lol.

What you need is a dollies bed to place over the keyboard!!
Problem solved... cat sleeps and you type.;-0)

Thankyou for all your suggestions, I will try them all at least once!

Susan - I will try to teach him, he seems quite keen to learn, lol.

Jean - Oscar has been leaping from the floor onto my back, and I've a few scratches to prove it. I rather hoped it was a kitten thing and wouldn't last too long. Oh well.

Deanna, I can just see hin tucked up in a little dollies bed, I think he'd quite like that.

And Buggs, I'm sure all these ideas can work just as well for the bunny in your life ;o)
