Several months ago many of you gave me support at a time when life had gone pear shaped, my sister had been diagnosed with extensive cancer in both lungs and the outlook was very bleak, they gave her two doses of chemo telling her that the chances of it working were very very slim, if it did by any wild chance work they would give her some more today was crunch day and guess what

***************IT HAS WORKED*************

No its not a cure that's not to be but its better than the hospital expected and so they are going to give her some more chemo and so she is going to be here for lots more time, thanks for your support and anyone out there just remember DONT GIVE UP

Pam, I am so glad the news is good and hope the next treatment helps even more to keep your sister with you all for lots longer still.

That is great news Pam, so glad she has come through, against the odds.......it gives hope to others that the treatments work......because I don't know about you......but the word cancer scares the devil out of me.......so good to know that she can continue with her life......what a relief for you all.....x

Wonderful news Pam

A friend (early fifties now) was first diagnosed with testicular cancer, which later spread to his lungs.

He had chemo and EIGHT years on hes still going strong with a good quality of life.

He still has the cancer & he has to go for check ups but so far so good :o))

where theres life...theres hope.

Thanks all for your good wishes, the doctors have also said she can fly off for a few days in the sunnier parts must be europe so have been looking to treat her to a spanish week next month, should be quite good fun it started off as just me and her then oh's said they wanted to come now two sets of friends want to come as well so 2 has turned to 8 look out Spain, realy looking forward to it, again thanks for all your good wishes and I really hope the others have the same result as we have
