What relatively simple thing would you do to make the life of the populace a little bit happier.?
I would tell councils that weekly bin collections are a must.

Gas and electric petrol oil, would be owned by the government therefore no shareholders to cream off huge profits. That would lower the cost of fuel for us mere soles.

Ensure everything was able to be recycled meaning make sure every single council had the facilities available to recycle.

Insist that all p.c. parties, health and safety/police/local government etc be forced to use commonsense as their first priority.

Disband the Civil Service......whatever government we choose, it matters not......it is the CS behind the scenes who decide things.....

I feel very strongly about this subject...apart from keeping all post offices running, especially in rural areas....free Baileys for all Pensioners. BC XX
