great isn't it Maz Found one of my first cousins last October and we got on like a house on fire - glad I found her when I did cos she's just had her eightieth birthday and with the family name being Williams I thought I never wouold find her!!

Maz. So happy for you that you found a family member.

Someone made contact with me recently, and her father was related to me through generations. She lives in Australia, and we now keep in touch.

I know a woman who went back to the place she knew her ancestors to come from. She saw the graveyard where they they had been buried.

This week, she happened to go into a pub for some lunch, and the landlord sent her to a guy who turned out to be her cousin.

She's still flabbergasted to find out so much more about her living relatives.

You never know when it will all fall into place.

Met up with a new GR-found cousin today :-)) (I think we are 2nd or 3rd cousins once removed). We had a great time comparing photos and discussing our tree, then just chatting and getting to know each other.

She was also very kind and bought my lunch and gave me a gorgeous little teddy :-))

Hopefully she will pop on the boards later and see this! ~~~~~~~ waving to Jane if she looks in :-)) Thanks for a lovely day!!
