and prayers please, i put a thread up a while ago about my friend Carol, who has been battling cancer,
Today she has had more surgery, and i have just been told by her hubby, that the cancer has spread a lot further than first thought,

Shes such a fighter, i pray to god, that she can fight this, the biggest battle yet.

Lynn, you are so right, life is bl***y unfair and cruel.

I send positive thoughts for Carol and hope she gets through this difficult time and that you and her family find strength to help and support her.

I visited my friend again Friday evening - despite a new pain management plan, she was still in pain, and the tumour on her breast is getting bigger, inoperable so they are planning to try some radio therapy - maybe - next week. The tumour on her leg is giving her most pain and I cuddled her as she wept, it is awful to see her looking so thin and drawn. As I only recently found out about her being ill, and we had drifted out of touch the last couple of years, I still haven't got all the info but her sister in law who is over from Oz to help look after her, tells me bits and pieces so am forming a picture. Her s.i.l said it won't be the cancer that takes her as it is only in non vital parts of her, but it will be the exhaustion and toxins in her body from so much medication etc. It breaks my heart to see her suffer so I hope your friend won't get this bad and can beat the cancer.
