I would give it away or dump it,if its that old,,,,,,tempature will have had an effect by now and dried up.!!!,,,and lots now use compatables which are few £ cheaper than named ones,,,,,

well Ive had one sitting there for nearly 18 months unused in box and its date is use by --Jan 09.........so about 2 year shelf life,,,and its HP....

Hi Everyone,

I know is may sound really really silly, but do ink cartdridges have sell-by-dates you know, before the ink starts to turn waterly and changes colour.

I hope someone can tell me if they do, as we need to sell an old cartdridge from an old printer, still in its inner wrapper.
