Yes Lisa, my friend Mary.
they were off on holiday that day too.
They were very lucky that one of the bank clerks was 'on the ball'. He stopped the card right away.
They were still able to go on holiday, as his card was still valid.

So sorry about that love, what a bunch of
*&^&%$£* there are in this world.
If they are so clever, why don't they do something clever ... like get a job??

I have never used a "hole in the wall", and never will. I draw enough money out at the bank to cover my weekly needs.

I was very concerned in February when I went to order and pay for mine and my sisters holiday. The total to pay was £7,600 and as I did not want to carry such a large amount around with me I used my card. The lady in the travel agents said we may get a phone call back from the bank querying such a large amount......did we???? No.

The bank just let the transaction go through.

I called into the branch the next day to question why it had not been checked to be told that the girls in the bank, who I know quite well, knew I was going to book my holiday and that it would come to quite a large amount.

I am sorry to hear all your stories, it is disgusting what people do to other people.
My partner once went out in our car, parked in a car park and was blocked in by 2 cars, the blokes in the car then dragged my OH out of his car searched him, took his phone and money off him, then took his car and they burnt it out the next day, it had our newborn daughters pram in it, car seats and other things.
It was so annoying as the police did nothing apart from take my partners clothes away to be checked by forensics
