Don't think so Bella unless you were in Ireland and Liz.....The Queen stopped the telegram to the Irish many years ago, in fact it would have been the King.....LOL........never mind, I think you do get a cheque from the President.

Had a lovely lunch and have had a few drinks and eaten too much junk...........most have gone home now..........wonder what I'll do for her 90th............

That's funny, I bumped into a colleague while walking my dog a couple of hours ago, she said that it was her mum's 80th and that all the family were going to her sister's after lunch at a restaurant...wonder if you Heather is the sister?

Hope lunch was good and your Mum enjoyed herself. Bet you will have a laugh with the cake and drinks party after, lots of memories to raise a smile and a tear too, no doubt.
Tell your Mum she is 4/5th of the way to her telegram from the Queen lol

Yes Linda...........We are lucky to still have them.......my Dad passed away 32 years ago so I appriciate my Mum all the more.

Off now for lunch.........well not quite now.....soon....I'm starving

My Mums 80th bithhday is 5th August but we are celebrating it today............All the family are going to a restuarant for Sunday lunch and then back to mine for the cake and drinks ..........Everyone is welcome.......See you there
