That is just so sad Rosalyn. He only arrived home yesterday didnt he, and I did wonder that it was perhaps too soon to have moved him.

What a very tragic situation.

what a sad ending to the beginning of 2 happy lives together :-(

ChrisofWessex Report 3 Aug 2008 18:52

Have removed my thread Rosalyn - we posted same time. Such a tragedy - a young couple setting out on their life together with their hopes and dreams - two families devastated and all their friends. My thoughts and prayers go out to them.

I'm sure I just read a different thread about this by you!

The poor families, I was thinking about the bridegroom today, he was on life support, wasn't he? Maybe it was kinder to let him go.

What a dreadful thing to happen to two young people.

CATHKIN Report 3 Aug 2008 18:54

I put one up about the tragedy but can`t find it , Ros xx

Maria Report 3 Aug 2008 18:54

Such a sad story.

Two young people with their lives ahead of them, and possibly future generations who are now not to be.

Thoughts to the families who have lost them.

Maria xx

I think they brought him home to die :o((

Now the couple will always be together x

AnnCardiff Report 3 Aug 2008 19:12

how dreadfully sad - still, perhaps he would have been brain damaged or crippled for life had he lived, and he would have been without the girl he loved so much - let's hope they are together now in peace, but that can't be much comfort for the families at this time

All the churches and chapels in the Swansea valley had a minutes silence during their services this morning

MarionfromScotland Report 3 Aug 2008 19:14

Just read it :((

I think it is for the best...really.

I wonder if the family had to decide to turn off his life support once the doctors found there was no hope? I do feel if so it was the best decision for Ben, who would probably have suffered enormously had he been brought out of the coma and would maybe not wanted to live without the love of his life.
Better they are together to rest in peace for eternity. I hope the families can comfort each other in their sad loss.

It must be so heartbreaking for their parents, and indeed family and friends. Just three weeks ago they married in front of all their friends and family. Everybody must have had a fabulous day, and three weeks later in the same church, with the same priest and with the same people present, they are to be buried. How Sad is that? how absolutely devestaing, cannot find the words.XX Gob bless them all, and may they find the love and togetherness in Heaven, may they both R.I.P. XX..

PinkDiana Report 4 Aug 2008 20:59

Dreadful isn't it Ros..... a waste of 2 lives!
