emmybaby Report 5 Aug 2008 21:25

My daughter has been travelling to St. James in Leeds now for a year and a bit, with either myself or her partner, for the past three weeks I have been telling her that she is pregnant in spite of all six testing kits I bought her she was still not convinced even though they all confirmed she was,I took her back to Leeds yesterday as her partner is at sea,the test confirmed that what I had been telling her was correct.

Now I am happy about it but at the same time I cannt be over the moon about it as I am afraid to bond with it.

Just thought I would offload my worry on you all,as most of you know by now about me not seeing my grandchildren for the past 92 weeks.

Am I being cruel do you think?

Love Emmybaby

Emmybaby.

What wonderful news.

I know how you feel, and I will keep you all in my thoughts and pray that all will go well.

You're not being cruel. It is a natural thing to worry.

no youve put up a barrier to protect yourself
but you wont be able to keep that barrier once this little one arrives im telling you emmy,
it will break it down and youll be all mush,
:-)
dont fret, just be there for your daughter,

oh and now shes got it confirmed you cant get refund on those strangely faulty testing kits, lol

Thank you all for your good wishes, yes it is for real that I move back to Spain in January, but if wanted I will fly back for the birth, then after that I cannt come back as it would make me more poorly than I am now by not being able to see my other two grandchildren.

My daughter knows she only has to say and her flights would be paid for once the child/children are old enough to fly.
