Just watching big brother and wondered why Darnell hasn't had his hair and lashes tinted if he hates looking different!

Is that daft, is Albino hair different and you are unable to colour it?

Muffyxx Report 6 Aug 2008 21:49

I don't think he'd be able to colour it as it doesn't contain any pigment xx

i think its more because he would change who he is.... and i think its not so much he hates how he looks, its more that he hates his past and wants ppl to see through that...

one of the physios I see is an albino and her hair is just like ours but white.

Maybe because he has afro hair that might be why he cant do it

probably wouldn't absorb colourants as no pigments and ,am guessing here, the chemicals might be detrimental to the skin the same as someone who has had recent chemo. daughter came through grey after her chemo in 2006 and was told NOT to dye her hair with usual hair colourants only to use vegetable dyes

I watched a documentry on Albino people and there was a girl on there who died her hair, lashes and eyebrows, so it is possible...

THE PIGMENT WOULD BE THE DYE

it is possible to dye it

he could also wear colour contacts

Things must have moved on since I did my City and Guilds then lol. I was always told that it was the pigment in the hair that changed the colour during the dying process and that hair without pigment couldn't be dyed.

Mind you...........that was about 20 * cough * years ago now lol xx

aaaaaaaaa that would be a rinse though Joy not a dye......poor doggie lol. I'm wracking my very limited brains to think of how one would be able to dye hair without pigment. I am pretty sure it wouldn't be by the normal methods.

If anyone knows PLEASE put me out of my misery lol.

My daughter has a white streak......no pigment, at the front of her hair and so has OH .......obviously comes from his side of the family.... his aunts have tried numerous times to get rid of theirs without success........so I have an ulterior motive for being dead interested in this one. I personally think it looks fab but they don't lol xx
