I have a document (a cv actually) of several pages that a friend needs e-mailing to a prospective employer. I was hoping that I could scan the document and email it for her. Trouble is - I don't know how to do it. I have a combined scanner/printer but how do I scan each individual page and make sure they all go onto the computer 'together' if you know what I mean and for me to be able to retrieve them and send as an attachment. I have only scanned photos before and they have gone straight into the Photo Programme I have installed but I have never tried to scan and import a document. I hope you can understand what I mean. Thanks.

When you click "scan" it should give you the option of "scan to where" - choose file. Then scan each page, when you've done all the pages choose to save it as a PDF in either My Documents or Desktop. From there you just attach it to your email.

Ouch!! When you go to scan the document your 'scanner' will need to be told that you are scanning a document or "text/line art" whichever feature your scanner has . There are several modes for scanning ie Colour Foto, Black White Foto, Text/line art, Newspaper
