Decisions, decisions.

After a hard week at work (yes, a return to grafting my fingers to the bone again), I don't know whether to stay in tonight amongst the banter and witty incisive cut and thrust, debating politics, religion and probably the weather....

Or should I go to the pub for a well earned drink or three and a convivial chat with like minded people.....

After my steak (rare) and chips, naturally.

difficult choice there - there has been little cut and thrust or repartee on the boards of late, so I should choose the pub!!

Home made chips. From my own potatoes as well. Might as well go the whole hog.

A nice stilton sauce made with the juices from the steak (ok, the blood)....onion rings, mushrooms, home grown tomatoes.......

Then I think I have made my mind up....pub about 8pm, a glass or several of John Smiths, a famous grouse or three for the road and then bed.

Sounds like a plan to me.

Yes. Hayley dear, it is work and very hard and demanding stressful work as well. I am soooo worn out.

I've never had a drink all week (maybe a glass of wine at the most) and nearly raw meat is much tastier than carbonised leather.

Heyley swaps you my oven chips for proper chip shop ones
