He wrecks the garden Eeyore. Not a flower has escaped him.

It's the kitten from hell who has had the furniture, carpets and curtains!

Winter Drawers Ever Near

Winter Drawers Ever Near Report 17 Aug 2008 22:40

A young couple have rented the house next to us and by coincidence went to school with one of my daughters.

They moved their belongings in yesterday with the help of friends and they were all sitting in the garden after their hard work having a few beers and some food.

I had our labrador pup in the garden and was throwing one of those rubber balls which you can stick your fingers through.

I was throwing it up the garden from the patio and the pup was bringing it back to me.

I don't know what happened but on my final throw my fingers got caught in the holes in the ball and instead of it going up the garden it went left over the fence into their patio and all I heard was a loud popping sound.

It landed in someone's pint of lager which exploded. I was so embarrassed.

I had to lend them the garden brush and the dustpan and brush (had to apologise about the brush) the end was chewed by the monster.

I asked if they had unpacked their things as after that they may not want to stay there but they were great about it and had a good laugh.

I don't know what is worse..... that or a prospective renter hearing me running round the garden the last time people came to view the place, shouting "give me back my knickers" when the pup pinched them off the line!

Life was getting a bit quiet ....... something was bound to happen sooner or later.
