OH was stung by a wasp a couple of weeks ago but it was his own fault. He was nowing the grass and had poured hinself a glass of cider. Finished the grass, took a swig of cider but didn't notice the wasp in the glass. Stung his lip inside before he could spit it out. Ended up looking like one of those natives who have had lip stretchers lol

I don't normally suffer much, although my wife does.
The Scottish midges landed her up in Oban outpatients.

However, I have had a couple recently, I don't know whether from ants, gnats or bed bugs, which have lasted for days.

I have been bitten on my bare legs several times when I go outside in the evening. I should find my Avon dry oil spray, it's the one which used to be called Woodland Fresh and is definitely a deterrent to some nasty biters out there.

I think some of us are more prone to getting bitten than others. I get bitten all the time in the summer but this was a real baddy. The midges in Scotland love me too but leave the rest of the family alone.

My nephew has been bitten by a spider,he said it hurt like hell, swelled up & oozed guck.
It does seem there are a lot of unusual aggressive bugs about.

My Daughter no matter where she goes gets bitten to pieces, Sunday she went to the park with her dad and came back covered.

What i do is give her some Benedryl syrup and dab the bites with T.C.P

Has anyone else been bitten just lately while out walking? I have had a really nasty bite, my forehead looks as though its deformed, I'm sure I read somewhere that there were some real nasties out and about.I didn't feel it bite me so its not a wasp or a bee sting.
I have taken antihistamine tablets and put on some hydrocortisone ointment so its going down a bit now. Fortunately I don't have to go out visiting today. OH says I look like that character in Star Trek!!
