Loved it!! I really am into these period dramas as It does sometimes bring to life the times my ancestors lived.I think though it doesnt always portray the poverty they lived in ie the vermin and dirt they had to live with |

I have two episodes on the dvd recorder now, it is annoying as I keep losing the thread, it has not been well presented in continuity of time and length of episodes, I don't think. |

regarding having it in half hour chunks ... when Dickens first wrote this, and lots of his others, they were published in serial form, with a cliffhanger at the end of each one. So really the BBC are only being true to Dickens' original plan :-) |
