Lindsey, are you saying you emailed the company and your post got whooshed? Hope I don't get into bother about it but it niggled me that they were gloating they got the job of gr after doing Friends as I wasn't happy with FR but as I got my money back having not long renewed when they changed it to a free site, I can't really grumble about that one.

C. I think they have already had lots of similar messages but don't seem to be doing much, maybe if the company read all our complaints they will realise especially if they see the info on disabled people's rights !

It looks like my ealier comment has been deleted?
But it ran pretty much along the same lines as you.
I really think a different choice of font,thicker darker would help , with so many reports of eyestrain, headaches and nausea it seems crazy not to listen to us.

re Genes Reunited site revamp

I don't suppose you will like this email but I hope you have seen how many members of gr you have upset with the revamp. Are any of you older with poor sight for instance? I have varifocals and end up with a headache after a short time on the site, as do many others. We aren't all healthy spry young things, many of us are older, lots of pensioners and such, and many with cancer and other ailments who need the site as a lifeline for friendship and support as well as working on our family trees, and now can't use it as easily due to the one sided boards, colours and other things that do not sit well with our sight and posture problems etc. It might interest you and help you with future work to look at all the complaints since the changes were made. Sadly some people will have already decided to leave and I hope others will manage to stay with us all altho won't probably be visiting so often.
