Nolls from Harrogate Report 23 Sep 2013 18:51

Mo it was sooo hot here this morning we went to town and came home sweltering got our coffee and sat outside...Lovely.....Not ! ... in 5mins it went Cold not cool but freezing evenn put the fire on this afternoon. I think 2yr olds are the most amazing little people they are just discovering everything and as you say full of energy (oh to have some of it) we took out 2yr old to shops she slipped my hand and off she went with me in tow but just a bit quicker (always in my sight though) caught up with her, she had climbed into a childs bed on display snuggled down under the cover and was calling out to all "Night Night" everyone was in stiches... and parents had a problem with her going to bed at night! just wish I had a camera with me.
Hi everyone else hope it's warmer in your paret of the country/world and Marilyn positive thoughts as always <3

Mo in Kent Report 21 Sep 2013 21:20

Thank you Elizabeth, Yvonne, Jeni and Noreen, I am sure our lovely Marilyn will be pleased to know she is in our hearts and prayers.

Well I don't know where the weather forecasters got their predictions from yesterday, today was supposed to be sunny and warm....huh wrong Mr Weatherman, we have been overcast and windy all day.
When I spoke to a very good friend from up in Stockport today, she was sitting out in her garden, enjoying a nice cup of coffee, in the sunshine, whilst I was shivering on the bench in my garden...jealous, no not me ooh I am a fibber. lol
We had our lovely Lilly again today, and I am well and truly cream crackered. How can a two year old bottle up so much energy, and then release it as soon as she walks through our front door. And yes you are right, I thoroughly enjoy every minute of it. Especially when walking round the supermarket, she is singing out loud, and everyone is smiling at her, but, no one could understand a word she was singing, but the melody was lovely.

Well, thats my waffle for the day. I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Sending (((((((((((BIG HUGS + <3 <3 <3 FOR OUR MARILYN)))))))))
Stay strong Maz, you are in my prayers sweetheart.

Love to all, Mo xxx

Shelly, cyber cake is definately not fattening, and after all your hard work losing all that weight, it's the best kind of cake to eat.

Aaah poor Mia Noreen, I bet she felt sorry for herself after her ordeal. It's amazing how animals sense a vet, as soon as they appear on the scene, and start to kick off straight away.
Mia is a good age isn't she, we lost our Misty at the age of 16, and oh boy do we miss her.

Well girls, another weekend has arrived, and it's raining yet again.
Has anyone got anything exciting planned. We are going to visit three of the grandchildren tomorrow, providing they have not gone out for the day.

Take care all, have a good un. Mo

Nolls from Harrogate Report 12 Sep 2013 17:51

Phew! that was hard work (watching) the vet arrived with an assistant a really pair and Mia was sitting quietly in the chair ..opened her eyes must have sensed something and was off luckily had closed door so managed to get her and the young assistant took her to table...Well an almighty noise exploded from her ladyship growling/hissing snapping you would think she was being murdered and this is before anything happened haha! but the wee lass got her on table lying on her side though cat was trying hardest to bite her then as injection was going just calmed own took the worming pill got de-flead had her claws cut no bother at all and vet was out of house within 5mins....Bill for all this £95 ouch!!!!!!!!! and she has to come back again in 3wks to give her the next dose of injections unfortunately she had run out of time from when she got it last year so has to start again and to think I had a very fit and healthy cat for 20 yrs and never had an injection . but just glad to get it over with and son will be paying bill

Mo I believe the beet cake is delicious will let you know think I will have a go tomorrow , if I have everything in, and a curry sounds nice we had an early tea and just had a Scotch Pie which was not as nice as the real thing think I will have to go up there and buy some to take home

Hope everyone's OK speak soon

Phew, thank goodness you are o.k Noreen, it's quite a worry when we don't hear from our cyber friends for a couple of days.
Oh my word, beetroot and chocolate cake, now that is something I have never heard of before. Yep, my eyes are going all squinty wondering what it will taste like, my mind is boggling as well.......well it don't take much to boggle my mind lately. lol.
I hope puss behaved herself for the vet, and that poor John has got some skin left for you to tort....oops bathe for him I mean.
I am in the middle of doing a curry for our dinner, mmmm yummy. Then I am away to darts tonight, it's our first game of the season, so wish us luck.

I hope everyone is keeping well, and that Marilyn and Jeni are on the road to recovery.
Love and hugs Mo

I am here Mo ....I can't understand it I wrote a long bit yesterday and it's no here where the heck has it gone to :-S Hope to goodness it's not on another thread probably a very serious one and I'm away jabbering away about nothing OMG what will they think of me :-D By the way think I will try and make a beetroot and choc cake don't know if anyone has tried it but 2 g/kids won't eat any veg so thought it could be a start and got recipe for squash and something scones will send you all some ...don't look like that I can see you all

Well Shelly I'm most impressed with your elect. prowess (see I can spell big words! ...I hope) if you have a spare moment please come to H/g and sort mine out it's been off for a year ...got yummy fudge cake for you and only you!!shhh! ps I like your work arrangements that would have suited me when I was younger now (as I'm retired you would think it's an easy peasy life HA! ) son emigrated but still has his business here so who do you think is looking after it...well no prizes for guessing who :-S

Jeni I hope they catch those horrors they deserve to be shot but suppose it will be a hard job to do so have you got any more horses they are lovely looking animals but must admit I'm a bit nervous around them they are sooo big

How are you Yvonne? hope you got the cake I sent you the cream and strawberry one ...now daughter said the straws were a bit off :-S How can straws be off unless really off and mouldy and they were not think she takes after her father's side ..difficult to please in some things :-D BUT still she ate it

Marilyn hope your feeling much better sending you wishes to get well take care

Well everyone cross you fingers for me tomorrow the vet is coming to sort out that cat of mine well give injections they did ask if she was vicious (is that how you spell it?? oh dear my spelling is getting bad) well what do you say she nearly tore john's hand off (haha..opps sorry) but normally she is quite mild so hummed and hayed so will tell you on Fri if she is ;-) :-0

Think I had better go maybe start tea on the spur of the moment decided to have lunch out at Morrisons today got there decided to buy some meat and ended up paying out £60 then went to café and it was packed out so came home was hoping a big meal at lunch would have had us having cheesy toast or something for tea but no so mince and tatties it is me thinks ah well a housewife's day is never done is it ladies (and gents who look in)

Jeni, I hope everything at Christies went well today my love, and that you are not to tired after your treatment.
I can't believe that the police let the rotten swines out, before taking them to court for the cruelty to Red. They will never be found now, unless your FAMILY can find them. They want stringing up from the privates, and being beaten as poor Red was.

Shelly, unfortunately we can never rely on our weather can we. And dont swear at me purleeze, talking about your garden being lit up like a christmas tree, christmas is coming soon enough as it is..yeeeeeeee noooooooooo

Where the blinky heck has Noreen got to, I hope she is o.k.

Hello friendlies, hope you are all ok.
Mo I do hope the antibiotics are working now. <3
Shelly, it sounds like you have been a very busy lady. <3
Yvonne, the men who stole Red were due in court yesterday for sentencing, but the whole family have gone over to Ireland and cannot be found, they are Irish travellers and none of their family will tell the police where they are. <3
Noreen, it upsets and annoys me when people are cruel to animals, I can never understand why they have to hurt them. <3

Oh well, another day over, think I will have a cuppa and an early night as I have an early start tomorrow, Christie at 10.
Night, God bless you all. xxxx
