I'm still suffering from the horrible cold that I have picked up. It's a real misery. :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( Not a lot I can do about it except try and relieve the symptoms.

Today I have been invited by my son to visit the Royal Navys most modern Warship. She is in her final fitting out on the River Clyde. Looking forward to that.

Wonder what's wrong with Marilyn. :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-( :-(

Morning everyone
Dull and damp again this morning not a day I want to go out in to be honest. But the forecast is horrible !!! I just heard -5C ugh . When will winter end? Jean and Yvonne don't put those horse blankets away just yet.

Not sure what to do today? Maybe sort out some boxes of paperwork I keep putting off.
I remember our Rita was going through so much of her papers. I do miss her adding on here.

Hope Stephen is feeling better. And Marilyn hasn't added yet to let us know how she is after her holidays and hospital visit? Pauline hasn't been on but I did get some jokes recently.

Shelly good to see you are still around.

Renewal in April but might let it go, need to think about it as the site is so slow now adding is hard.

Still missing Stephen and his laughs.

Yes Tuesday was lovely Jean and the two babies are growing up too quickly.
Yesterday was OK weatherwise and I had a nice lunch with friends for a birthday celebration.
This morning is uck very wet, but the first rain for several days so can't complain.

Hello all, hope our poorly Friendlies are on the mend

Lovely sunny day yesterday, but a bit overcast now.

Ami is still stabled but going for walks every day, the vet is due to see her again in a couple of weeks, if she's improved she will be able to go out in the field for a coup.le of hours

Yvonne how is Ami? has she had a further scan yet. mine enjoyed the last 2 days, turned them out for a few hours. they are out this morning, but rugged up, will go and take their rugs off at lunch time if it stays mild.

Evening, well night to Jean and Huia
We went out with Joshua and his Mum and the dog today. All went to the New Forest. What a beautiful day. The sun shone and it reached 15C. Tomorrow will be another day. So glad we could get out and enjoy it.

I am happy to know that at least Jean and Linda are still in the land of the living.

I will be going to town again today to work in the Hospice shop after lunch and tomorrow I might visit Phil in the morning for a change as I am doing the afternoon shift in the shop for another of the ladies.

Hello Linda and Huia, and anyone else who looks in later.
I am fast losing patience with GR, it has taken me 5 attempts to get onto this thread this morning, 'Error message' 4 times, and the same for more than a week now.
Oh well, the sun is shining so think I will put computer away and do some work in the garden, much more relaxing.
Marilyn and Stephen, hope you are both feeling better today.

Sorry you have been home alone.
I have been rather busy with family for a few days. Babysat Sebastian yesterday evening after going for a walk with both grandsons, their Mums and two dogs, fun eh.
Frozen here this morning, but forecast for a nice day later.
Have been crochet more little hats. But running out of wool fast. Have a problem as many of the local shops have closed so need to travel out to bigger towns for supplies and they aren't as cheap either.

A Wee Chuckle for the day

Three visitors to London climb up the tower that houses Big Ben and decide to have a contest.

They're going to throw their watches off the top, run down the stairs and try to catch the watches before they hit the ground.

The first tourist throws his watch, takes three steps and hears his watch crash.

The second throws his watch and takes only two steps when he hears his watch shatter.

The third tosses his watch off the tower, jogs down the stairs, goes to a candy store, buys a snack, walks back to Big Ben and catches his watch

"How did you do that?" asks one of his friends.

"My watch is 30 minutes slow."

It's the early bird, I have just returned from an all night supermarket, having driven miles to get there. Desperately needed something to relief this hellish cold and cough that I have.

Hope you are OK Marilyn. Must have been the shock to your system of being back in Blighty !!
The awful virus /cough has laid so many low.
Mo has been poorly.
My hubby is still coughing after 3 weeks.
Friends we visited today are suffering too, but not from us as we kept away since we got back a month ago.

Just popping in to thank you for the best wishes for our anniversary.
We have been rushed off our feet, with visits from most of the family. Tea is coming out of my ears, and the poor kettle needs a few days rest.
We are going out for our meal in a minute, and my poor belly thinks my throats been cut, I am starving hungry.
