Hi all, hope you’re all keeping well.

I spoke to Pete last week and he told me that Marilyn is going into hospital (in London) next Sunday (26th) to have a radical hysterectomy. She’ll be in a day or two before she has the op and about 14 days afterwards.

When she comes out of hospital she’ll be staying with friends in London until she is strong enough to travel back home.

Fingers crossed it’ll all be good news from now on.

Nice to see Jean posting…….. hope that means the New Year has brought better health.


Sorry to see that BC has health problems….. I wish you well BC, hope you’re on the mend now.

Yvonne, it always happens in the winter doesn't it? The heating and hot water never seem to break down in the summer.

Afternoon all

Hope you are all ok

Had a new boiler fitted on Friday. No hot water or gas for the day, I was glad to go to work to warm up lol, but hot water cylinder decided to spring a leak, luckily OH was at home and called the engineers back, they drained the system and said they would come back Saturday to fit a new tank so when I got home no heating or hot water . New tank put in Saturday morning so now everything working :-D

Going to work this evening to do stock take, all the staff have to be there and count every peice of stock,

I have just been very naughty, had jam roly poly and custard, haven't had it for ages but just fancied some. No doubt my sugar levels will rocket now, oh well,
never mind, will be good tomorrow.

Mo, the foal in my avatar was Holly, but we lost her last week so Scarlett is a very sad little girl at the moment.

Any news of Marilyn, hope she is coping with her chemo.

BC love hope you are managing to stay positive, easier said than done sometimes.

Yes we are drying out a bit now, thank goodness. Yesterday and today has been a little better, even the sun tried to shine yesterday, now that was a small miracle wasn't it.
This poor little thread is definately being neglected at the moment, where has everyone got to.
No Jeni,Shelly, Pauline, Maddie, Foggy, George, and even our founder Sue have deserted us.
Has anyone heard from our Marilyn by any chance, I do hope she has been coping with her chemo.

Jeni, is that the new foal born on christmas day in your Avatar ? It's beautiful.

Well friendlies, I do hope you are all safe and dry. It is raining so hard here, that the raised beds by our shed are awash with water. The birds, were they brave enough, could enjoy a lovely bath in it.
I am just grateful that we have a raised step, into our house, or else we could end up being flooded at this rate. I don't envy the poor souls who have been flooded locally, because with this downpour, it's bound to happen again, and they were only just getting back to normal.

I will say cheerio from a watery Kent, and send you all my very best wishes. Mo
