Mo I was killing myself laughing at the thought you and your scarf and holding up banks (you didn't did you?) :-D

What a lovely name Jamie-Leigh don't know about Lexi being called both names ... we will see.

Well didn't get to Ripon today it was pouring down but went off to Sanis****s had a look at their clothes got 3 tops and a cardi which is lovely for Lexi actually was lucky to buy some clothes from Adams on line and they send to Aus for free wish I could get everything from there .

Well weather is supposed to be bad again on Sun & Mon so everyone stay warm

Mo in Kent Report 2 Nov 2013 18:00

Noreen, I like the baby's name, is it just going to be Lexi, or will they use her full name of Lexi-Neve.
One of my grandaughters is Jamie-Leigh, and we always call her that, but her mum and sisters call her Jay or Jamie, such a shame when she has what I consider a lovely name. And no, she is not named after Jamie-Leigh Curtis lol When I asked my daughter if this was the case, you should have seen her face, and the comment
was.....whose she, it's alright it's an age thing, or should I say, my age. ;-) ;-) ;-)
The scarves you were talking about, sound very much like the snoods I used to wear. Mind you, mine were black, and looked like a balaclava when I wore them.
It got to the point I stopped wearing them, when they bought out the law against people wearing crash helmets, and hoodies in certain shops and banks, I did look a bit like a bank robber with it on.
Oh don't talk about christmas Noreen, I am all behind with it. And to top it all, our car has just broken down, so more expense at this time of year is not what we needed really.
I hope you manage to find some presents in Ripon tomorrow love.
Oh if only we could win the lottery,I dont mean a millionaire type win, just a nice win to make christmas easier.

<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Love and hugs for Marilyn and Jeni <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Oh Noreen, the new baby is gorgeous, I hope they decide on a name for her soon, it's so sad being little miss no name isn't it.
My friend has to have radiotherapy, before they progress any further. Tomorrow she has to have her mask made, and they have said she will be at the hospital for at least three hours.
Then hopefully they will give her a date for the treatment to start.

Thinking of Marilyn and Jeni, as they progress through their treatment.

Hello everyone

Lovely to see you Marilyn,

Congratulations Noreen and best wishes to your family

Had high winds and rain this morning, a tree came down in my street and just missed a neighbour's car. The electric went off this morning at 7 and came back on just after 2. Son was annoyed cos he couldn't use his Playstation,TV or computer.

Off to Kent tomorrow to see my sister

Oh Marilyn, it so wonderful to hear from you my love. We don't care if you are completely bald honey, you are who you are, and hair doesn't change that lovely person underneath.
You know we will be with you in our thoughts on Tuesday, and no wonder the nurses want you on the ward for your treatment, with your personality why wouldn't they, plus Petes treats must also be tempting for them.
Stay strong Marilyn, dont let the bugger beat you. <3 <3 <3 :-D :-D :-D

Many congratulations on your new baby Noreen. Have they decided on a name for her yet?
Mind you, she was a good weight wasn't she, not to big, and yet not tiny either.

Jeni, it's been blowing a gale here today, and raining cats and dogs, so if we are in for this bad weather they are forecasting, lord help us.

Hi Maddie and Pauline, good to hear from you both. I had begun to think you had vanished into thin air.
I hope things are well with you both. Please pop back when you can, we miss your input on here.

Well it's time for my bed now, so I will say goodnight god bless. Mo xxx

Hello everyone, hope you are all ok :-) :-)

Marilyn, so good to see you on here, take care love,
rest as much as possible. My hair is disappearing again,
but being Romany I always wear a dickla , (scarf tied like a bandana)
having chemo on the ward makes it easier for them to keep an eye
on you, also helps you to relax more. Will be thinking about you
on Tuesday xx

Congratulations Mo on winning your darts :-) :-)

Not looking forward to the storms that are forecast, hope they are wrong.

Take care and stay safe xx :-) :-) <3

My hair is nearly gone ....so going to have to have a wig or bandanna,s soon.think I'll have a Union Jack one ...LOL.

Back to hospital on Tuesday for more Chemo they seem to want me on the ward rather than an out patients Chemo, I think its because Pete sends in doughnuts & tins of Chocolates on a regulator basics for the nurses...

Mo in Kent Report 25 Oct 2013 16:57

Oh Noreen, what are we going to do with you LOL ,a pattern that cost you £2.50 pmsl, you probably could have bought a brand new one for less, but never mind hun, the seller was probably chuffed at receiving your money, and was rubbing their hands together. ;-) ;-) ;-)
We didn't win at darts last night, but, I did win my singles, and my partner and I won our pairs. We play on a trebles board on a Thursday night, and they haven't changed in size in donkeys years. But on Monday's we play on a Kent board, it's a black board with no other colours on it, and is a doubles board, nothing like a trebles board at all. Confusing hmmm, but we are used to it, and it's much harder than a trebles board, as you can't score a sixty with one dart....not that I do that very often, but I did get a 120 score in my singles last night.

Time for dinner now, and some clearing up after Roly's DIY. Must do it tonight, as we have got Lilly tomorrow.
Bye for now, be good, if you can't be good, be careful.

Hello I'm back .... sort off .... keyboard letters are jumping making it awful to type so going back to lappy hosp. asp.

Hope you won the darts Mo used to play years ago don't think my eyesight would cope with small board , can you get extra large boards now I wonder?

Shelly what a good idea must try it sometime what I find is the most annoying is getting every thing ready to bake/cook turn around and it's back in cupboard .. ugh!

Well got 2 Christmas cakes done yesterday one for daur hope it's ok remember making mum's once.... all the fruit fell in a thick line to bottom and top was sponge! she gave it to her neighbours when they came for tea... and they all asked for recipe?? Bet their eyesight was bad.

Now I dare anyone to laugh .. don't you dare. As some of you know g/daur no 13 is due 4/11 so been buying blankets and thought ah! baby shawl looked on EB** a wee bit dear but one on auction so put a bid in at £2.50 to start with ..... well we know it should go about £30+ but then forgot it till I was told I had won...Eh? what a bargain it came yesterday in an envelope .....a beautiful shawl ............................................ Pattern ? what the **** .. will have to go to SpeckS****s me thinks ....anyone good at knitting and wants a pattern free?? hahaha

Just had news DIL going into hosp tomorrow to be induced slight prob. but nothing to worry over (hopefully) so no. 13 due tomorrow/next day no name yet , well not telling us :-D Such excitement .

Hi Everyone hope your OK see you soon

Thank you Elizabeth and Shelly for the birthday wishes.

What on earth is happening to our little thread, it's becoming desolate, and slipping right down the boards.
Come back friendlies, we miss you all. Just a quick hello will do, just to let us know you are well.
No doubt Noreens lappy is back at the lappy hospital, as it's been unwell just lately, and no matter what lappy doctor is looking at it, they seem to be misdiagnosing it.
Come back soon Noreen.

Must get ready for darts now folks, so take care, speak to you soon. Mo
