Well done Shelly. How are you loosing weight? I stayed the same this week, but that's OK as I was out too much last week.
Lovely morning again, sun is shinning.
Might get out into the garden and see what I can move and what is actually growing at last. The camellia is out, the flowering cherry is showing some colour. But I am sure everything is about a month behind.

A bit dull here today but at least it is dry, may even get some work done in the garden, if not think it will be knitting for me for a couple of hours.

Couldn't breath again, called the doctor....he said you are too poorly to be at home , I'll ring the hospital and they can take you back ......oh dear !

So here I am having all sorts of test YET AGAIN......Ugh.

Well that made me chuckle !!! Unfortunately for hubby I don't drive...... never have. But do plenty of knitting.
Been for a lovely walk this morning with the family and dogs. Went to Mappledurham, near Reading, but in Oxfordshire.

Managed to hang washing outside on the line this morning Hooray

Hope Marilyn is OK we usually hear from her even though I do know she has been very poorly.

Had a great day today. The weather is lovely. Dry and sunny, not so windy either. Maybe spring has finally sprung !!!
We had a beautiful drive to Somerset !! Ended up at Wells. Nice market and a lovely walk round the Cathedral, sooooo much history and the city has amazing architecture too. Then we went on to Long Sutton where we stayed with friends many years ago and saw their old cottage once again(they moved a while ago) Nothing seems to have changed still a charming little village, with just a few new build homes, not too many that we saw.

Off to do some knitting now.

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.

The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though a whale is a very large mammal, its throat is very small.

The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.

The teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human, it was impossible.

The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah".

The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?"

The little girl replied, "Then you ask him!"

I dont know about our weather being better than yours, Jean. There was heavy rain in Tauranga, and flooding. We have had some heavy rain in Auckland and our area too. I was watching the news on TV almost an hour ago and it froze on an ad then a message came up 'no signal'. It was pouring with rain at the time, so I presume that affected the aerial. It came right when the rain stopped. Never had that problem with our old TV and aerial.

I have got a candle and torch by my side as I type, just in case we have lightning knock out our power.

As I just did when I got the error message. Of course, if GR had any abilities they would fix things so we didnt keep getting the error message.

Jean, your post appears 6 times! When you get the error message, hit the back arrow, then when it goes back hit the refresh button. That usually posts it.

Hello everyone, hope things are ok with you all.
Looks like it has been another quiet day on here, I have been trying most of the day to get onto this thread but gave up as I got fed up with the 'Error message', just managed to get on but tried 3 times to post, again the 'error message'. but according to GR there isn't a problem, maybe they just don't know how to fix it!!!!
Hope you all have a good weekend, think it is going to be quite warm and dry, if it is I will spend most of my time with my horses.

Morning all
Not so good yesterday. Had another spell of vertigo.
Did some crochet for the blankets, pulling one together now. The lady organising it has enough squares for 4 blankets and one complete one given to her in one month from first adding her project to facebook. Amazing really.

Well will try to go to the gym this morning, hubby said to take things easy !!! LOL

Thanks for the birthday wishes Stephen please stay around. As you can imagine the morning joke was particularly pertinent yesterday with my crocheting !!

When a woman got married she put a shoebox in the closet and told her husband not to open it.

After over 50 years of marriage she was dying and told him to open the box.

When he opened it there were 2 doilies and £85,000

He ask why this was in the box.

She replied “when I got married my mother told me to crochet a doily every time I got mad at you.

He smile thinking she was only mad twice and ask what the £85,000 was.

She replied ............that's the money from selling the doilies.
