Afternoon one and all, I had one of the best nights sleep in a long while last night! Went to bed very late last night, I was doing a liitle bit of my art work that I enjoy...anyway it was about 1.30 this morning when I finally went up. Hubby was snorring away on the sofa, also doing that irritating thing with his mouth where his lips vibrate!! Anyway it seemed a shame to wake him as he looked so comfortable...he came up about 6am! Hense the good nights kip! How I missed the snorring, farting and grinding of his teeth beside me.

Oh this thread is like a breath of fresh air - was about to make an appointment with the Dr about all my aches and pains, I say to my husband "I bet when we got married you never expected to spend your nights rubbing Deep Heat on my back"!!
Also got the whole hairs on my chin, thing going on and as for "Those summer nights" I'm rivetted to the weather forecast and driving my OH mad by pointing at the temperature and saying how am I going to sleep through that! He can't understand how I can get into bed freezing cold and then be boiling hot in 30 seconds. Nor can he understand that though my skin might be cold I'm boiling in side. He swears I'm making it up!

As I could probably get a job as Father Christmas now I have to admit that I have a go over with OH's razor.

I am not having it cost me money as well.

The old Bettaware book has a 'personal trimmer' in it for ladies. As it's for the female it apparantly doesn't shave it 'cuts' so no stubble comes back. I have one and use it to shape my eyebrows and it does a really neat job...I had visions of turning into Dennis Healey. I've been using it for a couple of years now and i'd recommend it. It's also good for the odd chin hair, it's good for travel and holidays too. Look out for it in the Bettaware book, it's well worth the £9.99. I'm sure you could get it in Boots or similiar places. My daughter uses one for her eyebrows too.

Pam.

We're off out over to see our boy now, be back later on all going well.

Hello one and all, a bit late coming on here, have been out all day.

Had to laugh about the thermastats - I must be the odd one out - I am the one turning UP the temperature whilst OH turns them down - how frustrating to be blinky freezing - told you I get cold flushes! lol (dont know why I am laughing) LOL

Yep....we are 'opposite' with the thermostat and I sneak and switch the heating off/turn it down all the time!! He will say my arms are cold, but I'm boiling inside!!

My OH just drops food/drink on his flies when we are out eating!!! Not a good look.....trying to clean it off under the table!!! lol No better after sloshing water round the area in the gents either!!! He daren't go out in pale coloured trousers!! lol

Why is it that when you are cross with them they start calling you 'darling' and 'sweetie', but don't bother most of the time when you are nice? ggggrrr!!

Hi all, well I have to say I'm terrible with dropping food down my front. We always have tea/supper on our laps now while watching the telly and I always have to tuck a tea towel down my top...dreadful isn't it! I put it down to being quite busty and they tend to get in the way! Oh Ann I remember Ken Dodd saying about the dark trouser thing...and another good tip he said was always keep the hair dryer plugged in to dry the damp patch!!! ha ha.

I've taken my evening primrose as usual, had to get up for my 4 am wee and hubby was snorring so loud his whole body was going into spasms! It looked quite alarming in the morning light. I said to him "You could be having a heart attack or fit and I'd never know!" He is okay with his bladder and can wear any type of trousers and doesn't seem to put on weight, he's so lucky. Having said that he is a heavy smoker and I can't see him ever really stopping, so that's a worry.

I was in a hotel bar with OH and this chap had been out to the loo.He sauntered back in with a massive wet patch on the front of his trousers. You couldn't miss it. A minute later he was walking out with his jacket held in front of him looking very sheepish, then arrived back in a different pair of trousers on lol.

Yes I can't see it happenning for a while as my daughter has a steady boyfriend but isn't really ready to move out yet i don't think (she spends half the week here and the other at her boyfriend's place) and my son just says he and the girlfriend arn't ready yet. You never know though.

Yes think smoking makes people snore Ann, I wish he'd give up I really do but he just seems toally addicted. He tried giving up about ten years ago now, he turned into Jack Nicholson from The Shinning, it was awful! He won't go to the doctors for help either, he's one of those men who hates going to the doctors, full stop.
