Thank you for the update.
The key to the nasty medicine Daff is to hold your nose when taking it and have a sweet or chocolate ready to pop in right away.

Thanks for the update Sue. I hope that she can shake that cough as it will be pulling her down and making her feel ill. I am pleased that Kay is able to spend time with her. I know that she is a long term friend so it is nice that she is there for them.

Hello troops :-D

Saw Daff for an hour yesterday and she's still quite poorly, has her sense of humour though :-)

Her friend is staying for the rest of the week, she's lovely and a great help to both Daff and R.

Daff is being treated to a riser/recliner chair and the discussion yesterday was where to place it in the sitting room ;-) As it's electric she'll be able to play with the controls :-D

She still has a shocking cough and the linctus must have tasted foul - you should have seen her face, reminded me of a child taking it's medicine (all screwed up and didn't want to swallow it). She did take some water afterwards, I suggested a good slug of gin may be better - she informed me she doesn't like gin :-D :-D

Kay was cooking chicken for dinner last night and I said I wanted a written report re what she ate!

She sends love to all and they both are very grateful to you for keeping her in your thoughts.

I have 4 medical appointments in the first 2 weeks in November so I don't yet know when we will get to see her next. Hopefully asap after those.
