Well... I must be an honorary one... my ancestor was on the First Fleet... he left my xtimes gt granny behind with half a dozen children...... stole some mutton


then married a young girl who was sent out on the so-called brothel ship... which was actually the best ship of them all, everyone arrived healthy and well fed, the women looked after the food and the provisions, etc etc...... Mary Rose was her name.

Oh.... and I was Welsh mamma to a couple of your young servicemen, sent over here on year long military dets...
