It seems like one step forward and two back, I hope the intensive physio care gets him going soon and on the road to a full recovery......x

It's a long journey but you both seem to be getting there. Make sure you look after yourself - you need caring for too.

Mummo, it always seems ons darn thing after another! The physios often sort out aftercare in this area, doctors here know thier limitations! But, next time you want to know something from a consultant, or any doctor, just say you dont understand what you are to do and ask for an explanation. From my nursing and patient experience, if you dont ask, they think you understand.

Hi everyone, :))))
Well took Ed to physio today for his half hour assessment which ended up as a 1hour 40 minute one and the outcome is that as he needs intensive physio , he will be having it at home to start with so they can build his body up a bit then start getting him in the gym also they are going to get occupational therepy to come to the house to see what help we need ( only taken them about 7 weeks to come to this conclusion !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )
Well at least things seem to be moving, fingers crossed and they are going to arrange for Eddie to have a Xray on his pelvis to see if he did do any damage when he had his fall 10 days ago.
Will keep you updated..............will our lifes ever get back to normal, lol.

Hi Mummo, sorry to hear of Eddies fall. I'm shocked the Dr wouldn't come out to see him, especially considering what he's been through.
Other than his fall, its good to hear he's progressing well.

Both of you take care,

Steve

Sorry to hear that Eddie had a tumble the other day, I hope that he hasn't been in too much pain from it. Just tell him to take it steady, and watch what he's doing. He's a cheeky devil telling you that you snore. Us ladies don't snore. LOL

Take care both of you.

Hi everyone, latest update::::::
Eddie had a fall indoors last friday, he has a few lovely cuts and bruises on his left arm and his hips are very sore. I was worried about a lump on a bone on his hip (if that makes sense) so phoned the doctors and we have one of those doctors who gives you a ring back first before he decides if he needs to see you or not, well told him about Ed and explained everything and told he he was waiting for his first lot of Physio on the 1st of March and doc said that he wouldn't see him but to mention it to physio when he goes and let them look at it, grrrrrrrr.
The fall really did shake Ed up but he is feeling a bit better now, still seems to tire quickly and is getting bored but l keep telling him he can't rush it.
Bed still in the sitting room as still not allowed upstairs and that drives me mad as never seem tidy, lol. mind you yesterday l did sit him in his chair so he could do some reading and just joking around l jump in his bed and fell asleep and what did he say to me............oh l'd forgotten that you snored, thanks Ed, lol. xx
