What a terrible shock for you both.I hope his stay in intensive care will be a short one and that he will soon be up on a ward.Keep strong ,but also try and get enough rest.

Mummo, I am so sorry to hear this happened, how often do we go up and down to the loft without thought for anything like this. I do hope that he soon makes a good recovery and is out of pain. And the paint everywhere must be terrible too, hope the insurance people come soon.
