I am sorry to read this news and hope things go well for your o.h. so he can get home soon. I hope the insurance assessor calls round soon so you can arrange to get things cleaned up and sorted out.
I hope you have some support locally, from friends and/or neighbours, who might give you a bit of tlc and a shoulder to cry on when you need one.

Very best wishes to you both that you are soon reunited and your o.h. healing well.

I don't think you know me but you may have read some of my posts.

I am thinking of you both. This is a dreadful thing to have happened.

I remember how frightened I was when I found my husband unconcious at the bottom of the stairs (at a holiday place, too!). He recovered and is just fine now.

I only told you that so you know I am sincere when I say I really felt upset for you and your dear husband.

I hope you find him improving today!

I am still thinking of you both Mummo..........he is in the best possible place and I agree with Ann that you are still in shock and need to try and eat something.

I have been through a similar thing twice now with my OH, the ICU staff are wonderful and will be right there with him all the time, so please take the chance to look after yourself so you are as fit as possible when he comes home.

Good to see the hospital is taking such good care of him.
Who is looking after you? Please take care of yourself and hope you are feeling better this morning.

You are very right... the people on GR certainly do come up trumps when there is a crisis in our lives... and the prayers and positive thoughts worked for me during my own crisis..... so sending mine to join with everyone elses.... I have lit a candle for you both, and will keep it going until E is up and singing and dancing....
