And there is also nothing worse than a stressed out Grandma. Rest yourself woman. Have some nanna naps or bubby zuzzes. You aren't doing either yourself or your family any good if you stretch yourself to the limit. You can still worry, but do it while you are resting.


Joseph on strike. Oh heavens first the posties, then British Airways and now Joseph. Just remind him this opportunity only comes once a year. If he muffs this one he has a whole twelve months to wait until he is in the limelight again. He will really kick himself, and so will you!!!

All went very well Joseph performed with a curtain over his shoulder as long as he did not wear a hat .Younger ones were cute The older ones were giggly ,but performed well with style .
count down now three days left .not too cold here yet although we are promised snow today .Hope Ava is better soon

Morning my little frozen petunias. Congratulate me. I have just finished writing my cards. That's two things crossed off the list.

Any news on the little one. I do hope LG managed to have some rest. Must be difficult coping with the littlest one, and still have a million things to do.

Pleased to see Joseph played his part. Kid's performances always bring a tear to my eye. They always seem to do things so right and make parents so proud.

Thank goodness today so far so good. She had a relapse last night after being discharged home early evening rushed in again at 3.30 this morning. Just awaiting doctors report after his rounds . We are all having a really good time of it OH really poorly similar to Ava but not so bad yet. all the rest of us Emily included have stinking colds and to add insult to injury ***** Washing machine died last night.

Oh LG...what can one say? Roll on 2010? Perhaps it would be best if Ava stays in overnight, just so they can monitor her.

Can I suggest your daughter gets her Health Vistor involved for Babes sake? I think she is too old to still be under the midwife, but could be wrong. They might be able to loan equipment for 'expressing' or cot monitors if it's thought appropriate.

I had come on to say....it's snowing....but that seems rather trite in the circumstances.

The washer breaking down is bad at any time of year but this near to Christmas is a nightmare. If you can't get it fixed - you'll be pushing it to get a new one before the holidays.

Said fairy has already distributed copious quantities of fairy dust on the little tackers. It is very good quality fairy dust and should do the trick.

Re the washing machine. Do you not have a family member who could take washing to laundromat. (Poms do have laundromats, don't they). And organise someone to come take a look at your machine. Delegate, delegate!! Demand action. Come on you've enough to do without worrying about washing. Don't wait for someone to offer to help. Ask for help.

And Maz how long do you think it will be before you have a visit from YG. Your estimate starting from the day the new fire station opens!!!!!

Just a very quick update as Emily is due for a feed and I cannot keep piggy waiting LOL Ava is slightly improved but will be staying in until she is a lot more stable. Thanks for the good wishes. As for washer it is out on the lawn in the morning LOL I shall throw it there !!!! We are going to buy one at the weekend as our local superstores keep some in for immediate collection. Will take some laundry over to Hailey's tomorrow and wash it in hers. An way I am away now but will keep you posted. It's not easy typing one handed with a grumpy baby on other arm.

When my OH was told of the latest news, he was already to drive round and collect the washing.....until he worked out the distance. At least his heart was in the right place - lol

And I thought of putting my OH into the catapult and flinging him over there. Trouble is he wouldn't sit still while I tied him in. He may be elderly but he sure moves quickly when he has to.

Well he is good at washing and also fixing things.

You are certainly having it rough at the moment LG. Ava is in the best place and she will be ok.
