AuntySherlock

AuntySherlock Report 17 Dec 2009 00:40

Calm down. You need to wait until the sun comes out and they are all outside, stripped off to the waist , polishing their fire trucks and rolling up their hoses.

OK .What have you lot done with my warm weather. Today it managed to crawl up to 21 degrees. It rained last night and this morning. It is freezing.

Hi Rita. Snow and ice are banned from this thread. As of now. Just be careful or we'll have the lady with the squiggles, Pauline, chucking snowballs at us all.

Duck!! Whooooooooshhh.............YG!! Why are you on the broomstick. What is the strange helmet on your head. Is that an icecream container??

Oh no my dear. Land the broomstick immediately. You can not fly that contraption over the Maz and join the fire brigade. No, not even as a mascot. And what on earth are you wearing. Well I must admit it does look cute but you are really going to feeeze. What's in the backpack??

Update. Just heard Ava had a very good night and is smiling this morning. Hailey never thought she would hear herself say it but she is so pleased Ava just threw a toddler tantrum. Little Emily has got a bit of a cough now so I am not taking any chances and getting her checked a bit later. No temperature just a very runny nose.

Very latest update Physio has just been and said her chest is clearing really well.Ava has just thrown another tantrum while I was speaking to her mum and has just turned everything out of Mummy's bag. Oh joy I am so happy I want to cry.

so pleased to hear the news. We said they bounced back!!!

You are just jealous of our artic blast AS. No, 21 is NOT freezing - that's a balmy day - lol! At least your resident gardener will be pleased his water tank has been topped up.lol

So Joseph decided to co-operate? Hmm. Bet Mary had a nag back stage! Funny how they get bees in their bonnets about certain things. Didn't he like his tea towel lol

AuntySherlock Report 17 Dec 2009 09:46

Well do just that. What a relief it must be for you. I am so pleased. It's always a good sign when kids recover their natural exuberance.

Go sit down put your feet up and relax for a while, well as much as you can with a small runny nose to be wiped.

LaGooner Report 17 Dec 2009 10:02

Latest !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 80% chance she will be home later. Can't sit with my feet up I am dancing for joy LOL

Good news, as long as the Medics are ABSOLUTLEY SURE it's the right thing for her, and not just trying to clear beds before the weekend.

AuntySherlock

AuntySherlock Report 17 Dec 2009 10:46

Ask Hailey how she feels about her coming home. Mothers have a way of judging how their children really are. If Hailey thinks she is OK, well and good, if not tell her to say something.

Specially if Emily is also a bit off colour. One more nights rest in hospital won't harm Ava.

LG, I'm so pleased to hear that Ava is feeling better, I can understand how relieved you must feel. I think DET and Aunty are right in saying make sure that she's ready to come out, it's best to be on the safe side.

Rita be careful if you go out, we can't have you falling down.

Maz be careful when YG gets there, she'll probably start a fire so she can see those firemen in action.

Mazfromnorf

Mazfromnorf Report 17 Dec 2009 14:04

Just had an idea. I don't think this constitutes advertising. I'll call it a Christmas gift idea.

Here you are YG and the rest of you. This should leave YG speechless and immobile for a while.

YG Report 17 Dec 2009 19:44

Moi!!! Chip pan fires!! Noooooooo!!!

We have snow, snow and more snow forecast for tonight!!

LG, so pleased to hear that Ava is much better. Hope your OH is rallying round too.

Have taken my two remaining days of holiday to finish my christmas shopping and the plan was then to borrow LGs broomstick to fly up to Maz's, BUT >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Busy shopping this afternoon, arctic blast came right through the shopping precinct and thought I better head for home. It passed over within a few minutes so I decided to carry on a bit longer and headed back into M&S. What happened next >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

My foot went from under me and I crashed to the floor with a resounding thud!!! No, it was not an earthquake!!!!!!

I limped home on the bus with a jarred back and very sore hip and thigh!!!!

DO NOT LAUGH!!!!!!

AND DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT ANY BOTTY STAMPING!!

I can't even begin to contemplate what I could do with a fireman tonight!!

AuntySherlock

AuntySherlock Report 17 Dec 2009 20:11

Oh you poor sore petal. Never mind. Cut and paste the link from my last post into your address bar an click the enter or go thingy. You won't have to go anywhere.

I doesn't sound like you stayed around for help. Probably too embarrassed. Hope your botty is not too sore.

Next time borrow the broomstick and just hover a few inches above the ground.
