Barbara, I picked up a little more information on Kip's role in H&A. He married Hayley (Bec Cartwright) and they went off to Paris to live. That would have been a while now as Bec retired from acting to marry Leyton Hewitt. They have two children and she accompanies him around the tennis circuit.

I thought it was Sophie.Brad Willis looked familier too.I could picture him in a green uniform ie Dr/nurse?

Well, I was definitely watching then and I vaguely remember the face. I'll have to swat up on the story. I remember Beth as the one who was killed in a car crash (right?). Probably wrong. I thought she was married to Jack's dad. Oh well, I'm sure the people who post on the public site of H&A will be able to answer any questions I have. That's where I got the info on Kip.

p.s. Just remembered the Beth I'm talking about was married to Jack Holden's father. My memory is not too good these days, but comes to light after I have some time to think!

Berona Had a look on H & A Scott was in 2003 -2005 .his parents were Jack Hunter & Beth ,his stepfather was Rhys Sutherland just couldnt place the face .got there in the end Scott had.a lot of affairs .think they swap about from neighbours- to H & A .cant keep up with them all . Take care

Barbara, I watched all five 'catchup' episodes of Neighbours to-day and saw the man you mentioned. His face was vaguely familiar to me. So was Colleen Mann (Doreen from Cell Block H) and Rebekkah Elmaloglou (Sophie from early H&A) as Terese - and of course, I remembered her boss, who has been there forever - even though I haven't watched it for many years.
I then searched the internet, but Neighbours' info is not up to date, so I put out a call over the Home and Away blog an received an immediate answer.
Brad Willis is played by Kip Gamblin who also played Scott Hunter in H & A. I'm afraid I can't remember who Scott Hunter was, but maybe you can enlighten me???

I don't watch Neighbours, but I'll have a look to see if I recognise anyone. I used to watch it years ago, but didn't watch any soapies for a few years, then gradually began watching H&A because it follows the evening News and Current Affairs programmes, so if I was sitting comfortably watching those, I just 'gravitated' to H&A. Now, I don't bother watching the Current Affairs programme, but make sure I'm sitting comfortably in time to watch H&A. I suppose it's because I was always busy at that hour, when I had a family to cater for, but now that I'm on my own, I can adjust MY timetable to suit what I want to watch on TV. (It's called Retirement!).

No. You won't be seeing Romeo again. As you know, he married the lass who played the role of Ruby and they have gone to USA to work. Also, Esther Anderson (Charlie) has secured work in L.A., so she won't be returning either. That's why she was 'killed off' in the series here. She is back again at the moment, as a 'vision' which Brax sees whilst lapsing in and out of consciousness, after being shot by Adam. Esther filmed those few episodes before she left for USA.

I have been looking in on the public site of H&A on Facebook and I'm amazed at the amount of youngsters who want Charlie to 'come back'. They can't accept that she is dead! I'm also surprised at the amount of people from other countries who contribute to that site - asking what happens next (because they are not as up to date as we are). I'm sure some of them think these people are REAL - and not actors. They actually worry about them!

Hello Marion. You mean Rolsie. . I was wondering how that situation would be handled, since the show attracts so many teenage viewers. However, it didn't last long before her foster mum came and took her home. Seems strange that all her friends knew, the police knew, the school knew and yet, her real father and her foster parents didn't know. ?? I'm glad it ended before they made any more mistakes.
We are up to the part where Brax gets shot. I believe this is where Charlie appears to him in a dream sequence. We should see that on Monday night.

Hello Les - welcome to the thread. Nice to see another man taking interest in what we say about our soapie. Allan sometimes joins us and gives us his version of what is going to happen next - but I think his ideas would be better suited to a science fiction storyline. lol
I am interested to see the actors. Most of them are still getting experience and it is good to see them move on to bigger and better offers after becoming 'known' in H&A. . I am also critical of the writers. Considering that this soapie is shown all over the world, I feel that they could use 'experts' as advisers on the subjects they use - including their use of the English language.

My dear wife watches them religiously...ME---I'm out of there...Reality here in chat room,,bad sad scripts in soaps....LES...

Off to the start of a new week with Adam being a very devious piece of work! With his henchmen watching the Braxton home, Heath drew the attention, whilst Brax and Kyle escaped only to find Tamara lying on a dirt road. Don't know how she got their but when Kyle picked her up and stood up with her in his arms, I couldn't help wonder how many takes of filming that took? I know she is little, but the way he did it was 'hernia' material!!

I don't know why the networks don't take notice of the complaints - there must have been thousands of them. Our three main commercial channels (7,9,10) are forever trying to out-do each other and since Ch 9 secured the rights to the big football match, with the broadcast beginning at 7.30pm on Wednesday, the other two set about changing their own programme times, believing that EVERYBODY wants to watch football! Messing people around by giving us one week with two episodes on Thursday and none on Friday - then this week, three episodes on Wednesday and none on Thurs or Friday was not only confusing, but very annoying for many.
Did they think that the youngsters who love to watch H&A would have precedence over their fathers/brothers, with regard to what the family watched? This was a "must watch" match for football enthusiasts, and not everyone has the means to record or tape. The networks seemed desperate for their 'ratings' and it's all that matters to them - not what the viewers want. Some fans missed all three episodes and no allowance was made either for people who wanted to watch both.

Looks like we might have to settle for two episodes on Thursday and none on Friday, but as long as we get the 5 episodes, I won't mind, although it seems strange on Friday nights, to sit down ready to watch H&A, and find something else is on instead. I keep asking myself "isn't this Friday?", then check to make sure!!
This football match was the first of three in the competition, so we have two more times to go through this yet. Let's see what mess they can make of the next one!

I know that we can 'catchup' on all 5 episodes on a Sunday afternoon on 7-2 but it runs from 2.15 to 4.30pm - that's your Sunday afternoon gone! When I have looked at it, I notice the odd bit 'missing' (unimportant parts, perhaps to allow for commercial breaks) but also, it can be very tiring to see that much of one thing!

I can't believe they would put 3 episodes on at the same time as the State of Origin, can figure that at all. Two repeats of Criminal Minds I can understand. I think we will be stuck with 4 nights a week with Thursday being an hour.

Spencer is nice looking so is Kyle and Brax. Heath is just a boofhead - I think he is typecast for life somehow. He appears very similar in real life from what my son told me when he saw them at Easter.

For 25 years, it has been on at the same time, same channel but in recent times, the network has been changing times around in an effort to overlap the times of good shows on other commercial channels. They are constantly 'at war' with each other in their effort to get 'ratings'. What the viewers want doesn't seem to matter to them. We are still getting five episodes a week, but its down to three episodes on Wednesday now and no more until next Monday! The viewers are tired of it.

I think Spencer is extremely good looking, with a nice smile. Jett, is shaping up to be a handsome young man and Kyle has a lovely face too.

Adam was knocked down by someone who drove straight at him. Brax checked him and said he thought he was dead, so he walked away to get away from the scene before the police came. . Now, Adam says that Brax left him to die and Ricky was helping Adam to get back at Brax until she understood that Brax really thought Adam was dead. Now, she admits to being part of the scam but says that she doesn't know who the 'boss' is. She won't name Adam.

Roo advised Marilyn to 'back off' John so Marilyn spoke to him and asked for 'space' - but he too, thought it was too soon after losing Gina, and told Marilyn off - so now she is embarrassed. Oh dear - all is not bells and roses with them now.

I see we only have three nights next week. Wednesday is three episodes! I think the Network is trying to force us to watch the renovations program - that is going on at 7pm (H&A time). It's far too fake for me.
