Mike , it's uinlikely that this post on Chat will bring much response, it would be better on Surname info , where people might use the filter to find the name Dodds... however the only sure way is to keep on sending out messages, but I would advise finding out what links you may have first...most people will not wish to let you view their tree unless you have some details of individuals.

good luck, be patient, it often takes a long while for people to respond.

edit..if you are wishing just to do a one name study, rather than find specific links to your tree, I would put that as thread title.

I am researching the name Dodds in the north of England. I would appreciate being able to view trees. I have written to a few people but as yet I have not heard back from anyone.
