God love her & family x its good to talk to someone . & i bet he was glad you were there .,we live other end of country to rellies so its stamps for my cards . my youngrst son said if i send them down. in a large envelope the people he knows he will call with cards from us . dont think will be visiting this yr unless it thaws out a bit !! we are from lancs & live in scotland . snow all gone at long last but very cold - have to go out tonight with old work collagues - well not all "old", only me!!

not in the mood for it though - my best pal has just rung to say her Mum, who has been in hospital most of this year has developed pneumonia and they're just waiting for her to die - doom and gloom merchant me aren't I!! So no doubt that will be another funeral before Christmas - be glad when Spring comes

I bought some daffs this week so they have cheered me up a bit!!!

was a lovely evening - we went to Jamie Oliver's restaurant - "Jamie's Italian" - excellent food and service

however, to put the icing on the cake I lost a very expensiv earring - first time I had worn them - bought earrings, pendant and ring all to match in St Maarten in the Carribbean on a cruise we went on in November

My friends Mum has rallied this morning believe it or not and has opened her eyes - she is amazing - I have spent most of the day sitting in her house because the gas boiler packed in and the gas man came to fix it and as they were all at the hospital I sat with the gas man!!! Exciting life I lead for sure

very dull and overcast here in Cardiff - really gloomy but the snow has disappeared except for a few heaps where people had done some shovelling!!!

I hope you are all coping with the snow. im getting fed up with it. saying that,it is slowly clearing.....ready for more lol.
