Morning all. Well we had lovely weather yesterday till late in the evening when it rained and now this morning it is lovely and sunny again, lets hope it lasts all day!! Off now to take SIL out shopping, so that is the rest of the day taken up at least she is on sticks now and not the walking frame any more which she found frustrating as she couldn't get her own shopping, still an excuse to have lunch out!

Have a good day everyone.

Good evening to you all.
Sylvia, hope move went well and not been too much of a stressful time xx
Wish Summer would hurry up and start , think we will start to get the good weather again next week.
Doing three classes this week so quite busy as have to spend time sorting out new projects that will keep their interest, going to have a play with die-cutting acrylic flowers and inking then embossing. The Tim Holtz die, Tatty Florals is great for making up flowers.

Hi Jill good to see you. Do you mean that UK is not alone in having abysmal weather?

Weather has been bad but we needed the rain so must not complain :) Will make the most of the French weather before we end up on the Isle of Man :)
Must say a thank you for the lovely ATCs, I was really stumped on the title Ballet and struggled to come up with something;

Jill, weather here today is glorious, yesterday was totally rubbish, even had to light the log fire in the late afternoon as it was so damp and miserable, but then today the sun has shone since very early this morning lets hope this lasts for a few days.
I loved your ATC you are so creative with your stamps. Loved Christines the pen drawing was so effective, make a lovely picture on a little girls bedroom wall, will have to ask her all about it when she comes back from her holiday! Now next months is a different matter......

Sylvia, hope the move went well yesterday and that you have settled into your new place, will be very strange for a start, but I am sure you will love it there.

Good evening from a very hot Maine et Loire, hit 32 in shade phew.
Jo, thank you but did find it a hard title. Been searching the thread for ATC titles and must be missing it, can you please let me have the next couple of months please.
Been indoors trying to get projects ready for this week and will have to set the air con on before class :)

Sylvia, I hope the move went OK for you and that you will soon feel settled.

It has been a beautiful day here, really warm and sunny, we sat out in the garden with a drink or two until 7.30pm, wonderful!!!

Jill, the ATC's are
July Dogs/cats
Aug Colour theme collage (any colour, any subject)
Sept Mountains

I just think they are getting more & more difficult, no idea what so ever for the Aug one, have no idea where to even start with that one!

Thanks Jo, will have to have a think, luckily I do have a gorgeous German Shepherd stamp ;)
Last night was unbearable upstairs with the heat plus our parent Little Owls were outside with offspring and Rosie must of been on the prowl,---what a racket !!!
Air con is cooling my craft room down and three projects all prepared so should be a good afternoon.
The lady in the gite is a crafter so will have to have a crafty chat with her :)
Hope everyone is keeping well and had a good weekend.

Jill last night was the same here it was so hot and sticky that I was unable to sleep, and today the sun now is gone but it has left it very heavy, had the occasional spot of rain but thats all, probably will get a thunder storm later. I have what we call a screech owl that is always sitting on the tree in front of our house at night and that wakes me up most nights.

Jill/Heather, I cannot get hold of Issy, but I think as there are 5 of us joining in the ATC swap we should be sending 4 to make it easier for Issy and also we will get one from everyone.

The weather has been so warm today, grandson said it was too hot to play out at the park even the swings were too hot for him to sit on so we came home again!

Hope you have all had the beautiful weather.

Afternoon girls,

Belated birthday wishes to Issy, hope my card arrived in time x

Jo I think I've sent my July atc's in advance, I'm sure I've sent enough though. Would you make sure when Issy gets back to you, thanks.

I'm currently having fun making wedding invites with my nestabilities :)
aah they are so easy to use in my little cuttlebug, a god send when lots of shapes are required.

Hope everyone is keeping well x x

Morning :)

Jo, I've changed my profile pic to one of the wedding invites I'm doing, will change back to me in a few days. They are very simple, which helps when doing quite a few.

Re: Atc's I've forgotten what mine look like ;-)

The invitation if beautiful, love how you have done it. Do you have the rest of the stationary to do as well? You are going to be very busy. I will send you a reminder of your ATC when it arrives, still haven't finished mine. Have two of the grandchildren staying for a week only been here 2 days and I am already exhausted, roll on next Tuesday, Looking after them is great fun, it is all the school runs at different times and also all the after school clubs they belong too. Tonight we have swimming for the 3yr old at 4, athletics club for the 7 yrs old till 4.30 then dance club from 4.45 till 6, would not be so bad if it was all local to me, but its not as it is all local to where my daughter lives, I can see the 3yr old will be missing some of his playschool next week, as I will be exhausted by then! Then Tuesday evening off to house sit for other daughter to look after all the chickens, dogs, cats, and hamsters - plus she has the builders in doing some work so no peace and quiet there as I was hoping for.

Hope things are going well for Sylvia at her new house.

Jo I hope that your daughter appreciates what you do for her and does the same for her Grandchildren when the time comes. Goodness knows how my children managed without all these exta curricular activities, and I do wonder if it is all necessary. What happened to children just playing? My grandchildren are the same although we rarely get involved as they are 2 hours away from us. he older ones, the boys did not have the same outside commitments, it seems to be a fairly recent thing.

Hallo all,
I'm back and coming up gasping for air. It has been so hot here and there is so much to do. Our children have been so helpful but I'm looking forward to one or two days without visitors!
My kitchen still has to be built in - thank god for the microwave!
My hairdresser comes here with the bus to do my hair, She doesn't promise every week but when she can either friday or saturday.
We've registered with a new doctor and he is coming tomorrow to meet us here - saves us going to him.
I've taken my old help on as my daughters and Johan said that the one I had didn't clean properly. I miss her. Now my help has gone on holiday for 3 weeks so don't know who I am going to have.
We now have internet without cable - don't know how you call it in English - wireless?
Haven't got down to any cardmaking yet.
Jo, the autumn ATC cards must be easy. Think of all those beautiful autumn colours - axminster carpet types.
My love to you all.
