Ann, sorry have been busy with lots of people here for lunch and tea, so only just getting round to it.

Hope all the birthday girls groups did better than my group. I only had one card from my group. Thank you Jill, it was a beautiful one, loved it.

I also had lovely cards from Jo, Issy and Jean so thank you for those. :-) :-)

Ladies, this is the message I received from Sylvias family.


It is with great saddness that we have to say goodbye to my wife, our dear mother and gran.
The cremation has taken place with close family only in accordance with her wishes
No visits at home and no flowers.

I think that is the end of our summer so shall be glad to get to tenerife where, I hope the sun will still be making an appearance. That is providing the Icelandic volcano behaves itself. :-) :-) :-)

I know that Sylvia is having difficulties getting on here at the moment. Hopefully we will be able to get her back soon.

Hope everyone is keeping well and that it is not too cold where you are, certainly chilly here again today not like August weather at all!

Ann/Jean I have email Sylvia but have not had a reply. I will leave it a couple of days and I will email her again. Last time she was ill her daughter wrote to me to let me know. Hope she is OK and it is just her broadband that she is having problems with again.

Evening ladies, very quiet on here at the moment hope you are all keeping well. The weather here was lovely again today but very chilly tonight, hope we do not have a frost again tonight. Still have grandchildren staying with me great fun, but the school run in rush hour traffic in the morning is no fun at all. Their school is about 1/2 hour away from me by car. Seem to spend my whole day either go to or coming from school.
