Sorry haven't been around for a few day, have problems with my internet!!

Sylvia sounds like Susan is trying to ensure you downsize!! Still I am sure you will manage to keep everything you need, the rate you are going you will have it all packed away soon. Hope you managed to get a nice lie in this morning with no visitors and that your weather has been nice again today.

The weather here has been lovely here again today although it has now clouded over and looks like rain!!
Have a good weekend everyone.

Hi all,
Well Johan and I woke around the same time this morning - 5.00 am, so we made an early start.
The weather is not so nice as it has been, but we need the rain. At the end of the afternoon the sun returned.
Our sitting room is so bare now, I want to run away.
We had no internet this morning either Jo, I wonder why?
Now have a nice evening,
love Sylvia xxx

Hallo everybody,
Where are you all?
I do hope you are enjoying the lovely sunshine. I see that nobody has posted since 6 June
I am still busy packing and will be glad when it is all over. We went to see the new house on Tuesday and I suddenly had lots of pain and Johan took me to the hospital. My catheter was blocked again. Today I had an appointment with the urologist and he said I must have the catheter rinsed out more often with a stronger solution.
It is really a nuisance when you are busy and this sort of thing happens to you.
For those enjoying their birthday tomorrow, have a nice day. My daughter's birthday is also tomorrow.
Love and best wishes Sylvia xxx <3 ;-)

Sylvia, the catheter certainly gives you some problems, lets hope a stronger solution solves them. I am sure you are finding it tiring all this moving business, when will youa ctually move? Hope you will soon be in and settled.

Evening all, Sylvia I am still having problems with my inernet going down so cannot post as often. Sorry to hear that your catheter has blocked again what a nuisance for you and the pain must be awful. At least the hospital sorted you out and lets hope the stronger solution works and it stops it blocking.

Weather still mixed here, sun rain, hail, thunderstorm, what more can it throw at us I wonder......

Hallo all,
Well this is my only piece of sanity. My neighbour wanted me to make a card for her today and I had to say "no, I cannot". All my card things are packed away.
Jo, we are moving on the 25th June, that is two weeks tomorrow. Help, need some more hands somewhere!
My daughter is coming up from Eindhoven again on Sunday with her partner, who can take down lamps etc.
This weekend it is Whitsun, but the district nurse will be here to rinse out my bladder again. My help in the house will also be here. She doesn't mind if it is Sunday or Xmas, she will be here if she can, thank goodness.
I took a little break this afternoon and had a chin wag with my neighbour, who said how much she is going to miss me, aaaaaaah!
I did some shopping for her when I went out as she cannot walk too well.
Have a nice weekend everybody.
Love, Sylvia xxx

Sylvia, it is difficult to downsize, I know I always want to keep everything!! Dread the day when I have to clear out the loft. As you say the move is not far away but at least you have people helping you. I am sure once you move you will still be able to make cards for your neighbour, just will mean posting them of to her. Difficult when we move away from our neighbours but you soon get to know all your new ones. You will have to let me know your new address.
Had a busy week, but tomorrow I have nothing to do, well apart from making 3 birthday cards even turned down an 'open garden' visit with my 3 sisters, just felt like I needed a free day.

Well I an hoping it doesn't rain as much as they said it would tomorrow as we are driving up the M6 to the LakeDistrict.

I managed to offload two large bags of books from the loft todat to my neighbour whose school is have a fete soon with stalls so feel good about that. then I opened a cupboard in the garage which I had completely forgotten about and it is full of containers I used to use when I did flower arranging. So got to get rid of that lot now.

Ann you are so good, wish I could be like that, I take after my father who kept everything, just in case!! Every now and again I will have a blitz of cupboards etc, but then things tend to get put in the garage for the next car boot hubby and son are doing, which never seems to happen!

Have a lovely time in the Lakes, hope the drive goes well and the rain holds off

Hi everybody,
I've just come up for air after clearing out yet another day. Oh won't I be pleased when we actually move. Apparently the family are trying to arrange for me to stay with a neighbour while they move and then I will follow in a taxibus with my scootmobile.
This is our new address from 25th June:
Meesterstraat 22

The Netherlands
Nice to see that you are still working Jill. I thought you had stopped until you had moved!

Sylvia, will keep the classes going as could be here ages yet before we get the house sold then it will be fun setting up a new group on the Isle of Man :)
Jo, glad you like the ATCs, not done any for ages as the forum I am on does swaps of tags, bottle tops , altered CDs, tins and inchies.

Will have a crafting day as very grey and drizzly--any excuse :)

Hi all,
Well I'm still going strong. Yesterday I was completely knocked out, but then I was up at 3.00 am!
Today I managed to sleep until 6.00 am so feel a lot better. Johan and I managed to eat a decent meal today whereas the last few days it has been snack food.
I went out shopping, telling Johan that I didn't need much, but when I was out I found I needed more than I thought so he had to help me upstairs with the shopping.
Janet's partner, Henk, has unfortunately cut off our telephone cable so we are having to use our mobile telephone. The only trouble is that only Janet and Henk know of this number. Nice and quiet all day!!!!
Tomorrow we are going to sign for the new house and pick up the keys. We are going to take over a few things too. We will take over two comfortable garden chairs and some lamps which have been cleaned ready for Henk to come and hang up, also some cleaning things. We have our large carpet ready for the cleaners near there and also our dark red velvet curtains. I bought a new shower curtain today and will be able to let the hems down on some of the other curtains and should not have too much expense. Henk has bought us a secondhand keramic cooking plate so that they won't have the work of taking my one - 16 years old - out. My kitchen has all built in units so there is a lot of work getting all the equipment out.
When we get there we will leave the unpacking for a while and get our strength back.
I'm so pleased to still have the computer.
Thinking of uou all.
love Sylvia xxx

Nothing worse Sylvia than when we cannot sleep, a good nights sleep makes us feel so much better. How exciting going to get the keys for your new house I bet you cannot wait now to move in. Will you need to look for a new home help or is yours able to get to where you are moving too.
How exciting and being ground floor no stairs to climb with your shopping!! Thanks for the magazines Sylvia!!
