Like AnnC said I had some comments about my hair in school, Its wavy rather than curly ,some generous lad used to call me his Grecian goddess I was on his dinner table, he was 4 or 5 yrs older than me..my first yr in senior school !
Blinky heck I think something has to to be done to it , cut and colour toned down !
to match the grey or even white !!!

Hello everyone :-)

Shaun I'm ok thank you, I finished my course a on the 19th of April and because my adviser doesn't think I am fit for even part time work rang ESA from her phone and told me to put a new claim in, I have done this and received a letter saying I am on ESA but the same day I received a letter off ATOS Healthcare asking me to fill in one of those booklets they send out. Well you know how things go from here, but this time when they send that letter saying I'm fit for work I will appeal the decision.
Hope you soon get a reprieve from the pain you are suffering :-)

The weather is rather strange ............. cloudy, sunny, some showers, etc etc

This is a long weekend ..............

............. good old Queen Viccie's birthday is being remembered yet again.

Her birthday was May 24 ................ we now have the May 24 holiday on the Monday before.

Actually ................. this weekend is treated as the start to summer all over Canada............. people go camping, open up the summer cottage / cabin, sort all the summer "stuff", etc etc

Plus it is the day when traditionally farmers begin to sow their seed, or begin to prepare the fields, and home gardeners start planting.

It is commonly expected that most of the country will no longer be getting night frosts, or at least not severe or long-lasting ones.


I got an unexpected email last night ................. my cousin's son is making an unexpected business trip to the Vancouver area ........ he works for some big company in Sweden.

He was arriving late last night ................ so very unexpected!

My server then refused to link up with his computer, but OH managed to get his university email to work.

We're meeting up with A tonight for dinner!

We last saw him 16 years ago, almost to the very day, when he stayed with us for a few days, and attended our daughter's BA grad ceremony :-)

Afternoon all ,
I am close to tears tbh :-( I am so drained it hurts , I am still not well and cough been keeping me awake last few days I have stuff to help which is does for short period of time and then boom feel like rubbish . Chavs next door .... they were away for weekend and it was bliss they got back last night , music was playing until 5:30 am :-S I have had no sleep , I rung council and by time they rung back it had stopped , I ended up watching 2 films and shopping online as no sleep .My dad rung me this afternoon and is he is so angry as he said he could hear how ill and how down I was , he is looking into legal side as council aren't helping and not to sound like a wuss but we have rights to a nice life .
What did make me smile was I let cats out at 4 am I looked out window at 4:30 and could see Nutkin not looking amused so I went out and could see Leo was chasing something .... It was a fox lol The fox was running away from Leo he must of thought this cat is mental lol
Family issue sadly it's not improving more member are coming down to help out , there so much stress on that part I don't want to worry them with my issues which seem very minor , all I can do for now is pray for improvement or for the person to be as comfy as they can .

Sylvia: Thanks . How's the weather with you ? I can't believe how weird the weather is around the world at the mo. !

Shaun : Thanks I really am trying to find "me" time but it feels the same as trying to find a pot of gold at end of rainbow lol It's boiling here today but sadly can't go to garden due to next door .

Sandie: Dau has right idea I always find when taking pills suddenly it's like I forget how to swallow and suddenly the pill starts fizzing in mouth ....ewww :-| I pick up phone with right and place to right ear but I tend to find if a mate is going on and on and on I place it on my left ear lol Your son is better than bf when he cleans the car this means £5 hand wash place where he sits with a coffee and other clean it but he does get a frog shaped air freshener lol

Annie: I advice always put the washing out when I don't as the rain seems magically appear when I put my stuff out lol

Just wrote a screed and my cursor disappeared, I'm home alone ,so I checked the mouse connection,checked the mucky moused feet and whey hey it seemed to go again, but all my typing had gone.
I don't want a cordless mouse they can be iffy.

Depends on the weather I'll get hubby to put son's old stuff asap ,don't mind about a black mouse , but want to keep my Silver and black keyboard and tower processor ..they will have a good cleaning when he changes them over.
Edit ..hubby says he he has a new 'mouse' same as this one

Since GR have stopped us deleting posts from files, this one was running slow.,but chucking off 'stuff 'and compressing files has made it faster.
But if there's a better tec hanging about I may as well have it on mine, no point in it hanging around.
Just a matter of putting one into another..so he says.

Tho mine is MC XP it's not should what his is .Certainly not 8 ,most peeps have grizzled about that.
Probably take a few hours to change over..I'll have to go for a long walk ;-)

Enough about IT.
Hope everyone is as well as you can be .

Sorry that Vic his not feeling is best. The poly-tunnel is only 50 / 60 yards from the house once this inflammation as cleared up in my back and legs it should not be a problem to get to it. Hope you find that Phil his managing okay, it must be very strange for him at the moment after being together for 55 years.

Bit grey here, muggy but also abit chilly....weird weather...lol

Bit worried about Vic, he had this awful cold last week, well its probably been 10 days now and he's feeling rough still, he had Dr appointment anyway last wk so told him about the cold etc, he had an xray Fr pm (cancellation came up, that was lucky) and this am ecg. But he's just not himself, he has very mild COPD and is on mild inhalers, been told to up the dose and is on antibiotics, they are helping to break up the cough, but his generally feeling of not well that worries me. Will update you when l know more. May not go to sons tomorrow:((((

Ref the house, l have just made an appointment for ours to be valued:) This is too good an opertunity to let go without trying having ago:)....it will need work on it, but that won't be difficult:). Its a smaller garden which would be better really apart from Madoc:( but then we will be so near the field etc:)
Your daughter sounds like my friends daughter, but withher all the piles will become one and its horrendous!!!
My curser (from the mouse), keeps running up the page, well its not done it for about a week, but does sometimes..... :-P

Our chav situation is better....seems the dad has moved out, the son is hardly here now, so less cars...yehhhhh. Son did the V sign to me the other day...NICE!! but then l was nearly choking on the fumes from his car and held me nose...:-P

It's been lovely and sunny here today 72 f in the front porch, had a steady walk up to poly-tunnel after lunch and it was 106 f , no good for man or beast, sat on one of my raised-beds for 10 minutes then headed back in-doors.

I cant believe It but I've seem it with my own eyes... son is cleaning his car.

Had the little Dyson out in the week for the inside and now is doing the outside and giving it a good going over !

Father has been advising on certain things ! Under the engine I guess ?

Cos he's only an amateur ...after all ..I could clean the Citroen C2 ( black) being able to reach the roof ( he was in Uni then so spent a lot of time on the PC at home in the daylight hours,) but when he had this Audi (White) when he started work I refused to clean it ( he did do the Citroen a few times ..bless him ) ;-)
Still can't manage the iron !!...One day!

Shaun ~~~Touch type is typing whilst looking at the screen...not the keys , I have to look at the keyboard all the time,fortunately this PC will spell-check GR, but the one on the laptop doesn't .
I don't know how you alter it and don't want to mess about with the laptop , it not being mine !
You seem to have had such different weather from us, hubby's been in the garden most days ,and was changing some patio blocks he thought were badly cut. It showed up over the bad weather.
Small brick like, they looked fine when they where put down but after a while you notice the imperfections of the cuttings...he had spare bricks and has made a much better job..main area is fine..
Sorry wifey hasn't been able to get out into the garden ,hubby catches the sun tho is fair skinned and his his face and arms are quite tanned.
Glad you are keeping up with the Dr's orders.!!

Beth ~~ I hope you are feeling better ,we all have colds or something or other ,dau has found some liquid medication..Lemsip as she can't take tablets (childhood thing from getting a sweet stuck in her throat her nan gave her ! )

Couldn't get the house link from the message so typed it in ,then had to put in the number afterwards.
Looks very nice ,we've had a bungalow since 1977, but had upstairs dormer I guess in 1987 when second child came along.
The big bedroom downstairs would have suited 2 same sex children for a while ,but dau has the upstairs one...which either looks as if has been been burgled or is clean as a pin ?!! I refuse to tidy it as I don't know where things go.....plus I'd have to step over all the clothing on the floor to get at anything.
Clean in piles or used in heaps ! Plus her clothes bin.
The new bungalow looks good ,it's not far from where you are now.
Doesn't show the garden much...would you prefer a smaller garden ?
Your other looked quite a medium size ( I'm used to big gardens and that would definitely be a consideration) if we ever moved.
Hope Vic gets over his chest probs soon.

My left ear is blocked :(Hope that doesn't mean a trip to the Dr on Mon :(
After working in the Gov dept for over 30 yrs ,being right handed ,you tend to answer the phone with your left hand as you have to write with your right hand, most peeps do it but you don't do it day in day out. So my best 'hearing ' ear is my left
Hubby and the children pick the phone up with their right hand..which do you do ?

Did a pm session at charity shop, so frustrating cause nothing matches up anymore...all the photo's and garments should be in a kind of order....BUT ITS NOT and the guy who takes photo's has'nt been in for ages so l'm doing that as well....its so frustrating cause l can't get stuff online and when l do l have rushed the photos...grrr and the site is so slow....grrrrrr....do you know what....l'm going in on Sunday to try and sort it, must be mad.

Saw Phil yesterday, he's ok:))

Doing a skype with daughter tomorrow am, sister coming too, then we can all see the new baby and her sister:)
Sister is abit better, SOMUCH SO THAT THE STAFF AT SHOP HAVE MENTIONED IT for the past 2 weeks!!!! and atlas taking her tabs, so to me she does not have dementia....myself and the doc had a right old talk to her a couple of weeks ago and it worked!!!!...she still has a memory prob though, but l think she's got into the habit of saying the same thing...:(( unless she see's fit to do different especially when someone else is about!!!! l must sound awful, but my mind keeps flitting from dementia to not dementia...and l think right now NOT DEMENTIA....
Ok thats it, l'm off to bed to read me kindle on touchpad:))...shusssssssh l'm the one who said they not get a kindle....lol

I've been busy doing art stuff as I've got an exhibition coming up and had to get stuff ready. Met with a framer yesterday to get stuff properly framed.

Jude - Hope you and Vic are feeling better. Interesting that you were looking at properties as I had a look online the other day. Decided to stay put though for the time being at least. We live in a bungalow so everything is in place for my old age ;-) ;-) ;-)

What a terrible week it's been weather wise, a right mixture of rain , sleet, snow and strong winds wrecking the garden plants and shrubs. OH as failed to get in the garden this week so very frustrated . We have got the poly-tunnel up to standard regarding getting some plants in but with these low temperatures during the night and day I will not be rushing, we live in a frost pocket so it would not pay to start to early rearing plants .

Hazel, hope all this extra worry regarding Atos will sort it's self out and they will see sense after hearing from your GP, thinking of you <3

Sandie,we are not to bad thank you , I'm doing as GP as ordered ie less sitting and more laying down, OH is fretting a bit because she would like to do some jobs in the garden and it's to wet to get out. You do :-S me , I thought typing was typing , you have got to touch the keys to type, and you say you cannot ``touch type`` . You can stop laughing you know me and the modern age, but could you explain in simple words what on earth are you on about:-)))))))) Looking forward to your email.

weather here is confounding the experts ............. they keep saying rain tomorrow, then tomorrow comes and the sun beats back the clouds :-D

This si the 3rd day in a row that that has ahppened

BUT ............... there is still snow falling on some of the mountain passes. We have to go into the Interior again on June 1st .................... so hoping there won't be any snow then
